Cirianni Scores Double Knockout

Niveau 5 : 200/400, 400 ante
Alexander Shelukhin
Alexander Shelukhin

Josef Schmalzbauer attempted to push out Jaroslav Peter in a battle hijack versus button, however, Peter called all in for 14,200 and tabled the {Q-Diamonds}{Q-Hearts}. Schmalzbauer only held {8-Clubs}{7-Diamonds} and the board came {J-Clubs}{10-Hearts}{J-Spades}{8-Diamonds}{K-Clubs}.

Soon after, the three-way flop showed {A-Spades}{K-Spades}{7-Clubs} and Schmalzbauer, as well as Alexander Shelukhin, were all in. Francesco Cirianni looked them both up and was ahead with {A-Diamonds}{10-Diamonds} for top pair. Schmalzbauer held {10-Spades}{2-Spades} for the ten-high flush draw and Shelukhin had {6-Spades}{5-Spades} for an inferior flush draw. Both the {A-Clubs} turn and {K-Clubs} river changed nothing and Cirianni scored the double knockout with a full house.

Van 't Hoff Busts and Re-Enters

Evangelos Vougiouklakis and Evgeny Medyukha

On the heads-up flop of {K-Spades}{Q-Spades}{9-Clubs}, Jasper Van 't Hoff got his stack in with the {J-Spades}{9-Spades} for bottom pair, gutshot and a flush draw. Table big stack Evgeny Medyukha looked him up with {A-Spades}{10-Spades} for the nut flush draw and gutshot to a superior straight.

Nothing changed with the {K-Clubs} turn, however, the {8-Spades} river gave Medyukha the nut flush.

"See you on the next table," the Dutchman joked and was back in action soon after.

Emil Bise Wins the WSOPC Main Event
Emil Bise Wins the WSOPC Main Event

Emil Bise, won who the WSOP International Circuit €1,650 Main Event here at King's Casino just a few days ago, has been among the early casualties on Day 1B of The COLOSSUS. Down to a mere 2,500, he was all in and at risk to pick up a call by Maksym Lavrov.

Emil Bise: {K-Diamonds}{10-Diamonds}
Maksym Lavrov: {A-Spades}{6-Spades}

Bise was not hopeful as he already left his seat and was on the way out of the tournament area even before any community cards had appeared. The board came {A-Hearts}{Q-Hearts}{5-Clubs}{4-Spades}{7-Spades} and Bise glanced back briefly before heading to the rail.
