Ban Eliminated by Skrzypczak

Niveau 9 : 500/1,000, 1,000 ante

Georgios Koliofotis limped in from under the gun and Pawel Skrzypczak did the same in mid-position. Zoltan Ban shoved for 14,000 from late position and was only called by Skrzypczak.

Zoltan Ban: {A-Clubs}{10-Spades}
Pawel Skrzypczak: {10-Hearts}{10-Diamonds}

The board ran out {6-Hearts}{k-Diamonds}{2-Spades}{7-Hearts}{q-Spades} for Skrzypczak's pocket tens to hold to send Ban away from the tournament tables.

Split Pot For Dirlewanger

Niveau 9 : 500/1,000, 1,000 ante

The player in the under-the-gun position raised to 2,000 and Daniel Rezaei three-bet to 6,000 from mid-position. Leandro Dirlewanger called in the hijack and so did the initial raiser.

They all checked through the {3-Diamonds}{4-Clubs}{7-Diamonds} on the flop to the {7-Spades} on the turn. Both the initial raiser and Rezaei checked. Dirlewanger bet 6,000. The under-the-gun player raised to 13,000 and only Dirlewanger called.

The river completed the board with the {2-Hearts} and they both checked for them both to show {a-}{q-} to split the pot up.

Bouhkin Makes Sun Go Down

Niveau 9 : 500/1,000, 1,000 ante
Philippe Bouhnik
Philippe Bouhnik

Just when the break was starting, Yunsheng Sun was all-in from the big blind for 29,700. The board read {j-Spades}{q-Hearts}{4-Spades}{3-Diamonds}{10-Hearts} with around 40,000 in the middle already. Philippe Bouhnik was sitting in the tank in the cutoff and the clock was called on him. As the break had started, the clock was canceled by the person that called it so Bouhnik could dive deeper into the tank.

After about four minutes, Bouhnik said: "I put you on five-six."

Bouhnik cut out calling chips and looked at the remainder of his stack. He then had another look at his cards and stared at Sun a bit longer before making the call.

Sun sheepishly turned around {7-Spades}{6-Spades} for the bluff, Bouhnik quickly flipped over {K-Diamonds}{5-Diamonds} for king-high and roared from happiness for making the right call to take him to over 100,000 in chips.

Cariou in the Lead

Niveau 8 : 400/800, 800 ante
Gaetan Cariou
Gaetan Cariou

The cards of Sergejs Dubovs were already in the muck while Gaetan Cariou dragged in the pot with {A-Spades}{K-Spades}. The young Frenchman had turned top pair and the nut flush draw, then rivered the flush for good measure on a board of {A-Hearts}{J-Spades}{8-Spades}{9-Hearts}{5-Spades} to eliminate Dubovs.

That pot brought the stack of Cariou to almost four times the starting stack.

Alt Up, Kamphues Down

Niveau 8 : 400/800, 800 ante
Timo Kamphues
Timo Kamphues

Chandru Alt raised to 1,300 from mid-position and the player on the button three-bet to 2,800. The player in the big blind and Alt both called.

They all checked through the {10-Clubs}{10-Spades}{k-Diamonds} flop and the {a-Spades} on the turn to the {9-Hearts} on the river. When Alt bet 10,000, both of his opponents folded.

On one of the other tables, Timo Kamphues was eliminated when he ran his pocket deuces into the pocket fours of Aleksandr Nemtsov.
