Ferreira Versus Sahijwani

Niveau 6 : 400/800, 800 ante
Luiz Ferreira
Luiz Ferreira

Luiz Ferreira raised under the gun to 2,100 and the only player interested in the pot was Sanjay Sahijwani. He didn't just call as he three-bet to 7,000. Ferreira was the one that called and they went to a flop.

The flop came down {5-Spades}{10-Diamonds}{3-Spades} and both players checked. The betting happened on the {9-Hearts} turn when Ferreira put in three 5,000 chips. Sahijwani called and the {10-Spades} river fell.

Ferreira doubled his sizing as he put in 30,000 on the river. Sahijwani called and mucked his hand when he saw Ferreira open up {J-Spades}{J-Diamonds}.

Tang's Kicker is Good

Niveau 5 : 300/600, 600 ante

Dutch poker player Teun Mulder raised from the under-the-gun position to 1,500 and he was three-bet by Christian Weichhart. Weichhart made it 4,700 from the cutoff and Danny Tang called from the big blind. Mulder called as well and they went three-way to the flop.

The flop came down {A-Spades}{K-Spades}{4-Hearts} and all three players checked. They did the same thing on the {J-Hearts} turn and the {7-Spades} river completed the board.

It checked to Weichhart on the river and he bet 5,000. Tang called, but Mulder folded his cards. Weichhart opened {A-Hearts}{2-Hearts}, but Tang's kicker was better as he had {A-Diamonds}{Q-Diamonds}.

Simko Knocks Voth Out

Niveau 5 : 300/600, 600 ante

The board read {9-Spades}{q-Hearts}{q-Clubs}{8-Clubs}{6-Diamonds} with 24,000 in the middle already.

Ronny Voth had a bet of 15,000 in front of him on the button. Milan Simko looked to have a raise of 80,000 in front of him in the under-the-gun position. Voth tanked but ended up calling for his last chips with {a-Clubs}{q-Diamonds} for the flopped trip queens but Simko had him beat with {9-Hearts}{9-Clubs} who had flopped a full house.

Over on the other tables, Michael Soyza was eliminated.

Van de Linde Calls Correctly

Niveau 5 : 300/600, 600 ante

Ronald van de Linde had 17,500 in front of him and his opponent, Christopher Andler, had moved all in for 62,500.

The board read {10-Spades}{A-Hearts}{7-Hearts}{Q-Spades}{3-Hearts} and Van de Linde didn't look very happy about the situation. He did end up making the call and Andler opened up {A-Clubs}{K-Hearts}. Van de Linde turned out to correct as he opened up {10-Hearts}{10-Clubs} for three of a kind.
