The Final Table is Set for Event #3: €550 Pot-Limit Omaha 8-Handed
It took just over six hours for play to wrap up on Day 2 as the field quickly dwindled down to just eight players. With that, the final table was set for Event #3: €550 Pot-Limit Omaha 8-Handed. When the players return to the felt, they will have their sights set on the WSOPE gold bracelet and the first-place prize of €59,625.
Leading the way will be Hanh Tran and Tarek Sleiman who both bagged up 2,265,000 chips. Tran picked up his first WSOP bracelet this summer in Las Vegas with a win in Event #29: $1,500 Limit 2-7 Lowball Triple Draw so he knows what it takes to get the job done. Sleiman, on the other hand, is in search of what that feeling is like to capture a WSOP title.
A couple other names to keep an eye on is Frenchman Romain Lewis (725,000) and German Florian Sarnow (375,000). Lewis appears to be the only player to have a shot at Shaun Deeb for the WSOP Player of the Year title, as everyone else in the top 10 has failed to make the trip to Europe. Lewis had three final table appearances in the summer, finishing second twice and he will be looking to improve on that position. Sarnow will have a quick turn around after jumping into Event #4: €1,100 Turbo Bounty Hunter late last night. Sarnow made it all the way to the final table but fell just short in second place for €37,678.

There will be 33:53 remaining in level 27 with the blinds at 30,000/60,000. The levels will continue to be 40-minutes in length and play until a winner is crowned. Lewis Doubles Through Magalashvili
