Zhou Up and Down

Niveau 13 : 1,500/3,000, 0 ante

Soon after the start of the level, Pim van Holsteyn was ousted by Quan Zhou and the Chinese high roller then took on Shaun Deeb. The flop showed {6-Clubs}{4-Clubs}{3-Diamonds} and Deeb was all in with the {A-Clubs}{K-Diamonds}{K-Hearts}{10-Diamonds}. Zhou turned over {A-Spades}{7-Hearts}{4-Spades}{2-Spades} and the {Q-Spades} turn and {Q-Diamonds} river brought two blanks.

No Miracle for Kvrgic

Niveau 13 : 1,500/3,000, 0 ante

Willm Engelke raised from the small blind and Nihad Kvrgic stuck his last 6,500 in from the big blind.

Nihad Kvrgic: {Q-Clubs}{10-Clubs}{7-Clubs}{5-Diamonds}
Willm Engelke: {K-Spades}{Q-Diamonds}{9-Diamonds}{2-Spades}

The board of {A-Clubs}{7-Diamonds}{6-Diamonds}{2-Diamonds}{8-Hearts} left Kvrgic drawing dead and he quickly left the tournament area.

Break At the End of Level 12

Niveau 12 : 1,200/2,400, 0 ante

The re-entry massacre is nearing an end with all remaining 65 players out of 185 re-entries heading into a 15-minute break at the end of level 12. Only until the cards go back in the air, Pot-Limit Omaha aficionados can still jump into the action and the guaranteed prize pool of €200,000 has been almost doubled already.

Kurt From Hero to Re-Entry

Niveau 12 : 1,200/2,400, 0 ante

Only a few minutes ago Yusuf Kurt had been the hero, now his stack had been reduced to zero. Kurt had been ahead preflop with {K-Hearts}{K-Clubs}{7-Hearts}{2-Clubs}, but Hokyiu Lee flopped top set and turned quads with {J-Hearts}{10-Clubs}{10-Hearts}{8-Clubs} to send Kurt to the cashier.

Ronald Keijzer avoided that after doubling through Nihad Kvrgic when they got it in after a {9-Hearts}{5-Clubs}{2-Hearts} flop, the Dutchman doubled for 44,600.

Ronald Keijzer: {A-Clubs}{Q-Clubs}{10-Hearts}{9-Diamonds}
Nihad Kvrgic: {A-Spades}{A-Diamonds}{J-Diamonds}{7-Clubs}

The {K-Spades} turn gave Keijzer some outs and he got there thanks to the {10-Clubs} river.

"Seven times aces, unbelievable," Kvrgic said in table chat.

Defending champion Lukas Zaskodny was eliminated by Ilya Bulychev at almost the same time and it remains to be seen if the Czech will re-enter until the start of level 13 in order to retain a chance at winning the event two years in a row.

Deeb Busts a Second Time

Niveau 12 : 1,200/2,400, 0 ante

Yusuf Kurt defended his big blind and called the shove of Shaun Deeb on a flop of {8-Hearts}{7-Spades}{2-Clubs} to create the following showdown.

Shaun Deeb: {K-Diamonds}{K-Hearts}{J-Diamonds}{J-Hearts}
Yusuf Kurt: {Q-Diamonds}{9-Spades}{8-Clubs}{2-Diamonds}

The flopped two pair of Kurt held up on the {A-Hearts} turn and {10-Clubs} river run out and Deeb will have to re-enter again shortly.

Jachtmann Sends Deeb to the Cashier

Niveau 12 : 1,200/2,400, 0 ante
Shaun Deeb
Shaun Deeb

In a battle button versus small blind, Shaun Deeb got his stack of around 75,000 in with the flop reading {10-Spades}{9-Diamonds}{4-Clubs} and he was called by Jan-Peter Jachtmann.

Shaun Deeb: {A-Diamonds}{K-Hearts}{J-Clubs}{9-Hearts}
Jan-Peter Jachtmann: {K-Spades}{K-Diamonds}{J-Hearts}{9-Spades}

"That's good," Jachtmann said as soon as he spotted the cards of the 2018 WSOP Player of the Year contender, and his kings held up on the {6-Diamonds} turn and {10-Diamonds} river. Deeb quickly headed to the cashier to re-enter and take another shot at running up a stack.

Petleshkov Ousted in Three-Way All In

Niveau 12 : 1,200/2,400, 0 ante
Viliyan Petleshkov
Viliyan Petleshkov

The cards were all but rushed away and Viliyan Petleshkov stood up from his chair after he ran out of chips in a three-way all in against Chin Wei Lim and Pim van Holsteyn.

Viliyan Petleshkov: {7-Clubs}{5-Spades}{4-Diamonds}{3-Diamonds}
Chin Wei Lim: {J-Hearts}{10-Clubs}{10-Diamonds}{9-Clubs}
Pim van Holsteyn: {A-Diamonds}{A-Clubs}{K-Diamonds}{3-Hearts}

It was van Holsteyn that had the best of it preflop, but as often in Pot-Limit Omaha that can change rather quickly. The board came {K-Spades}{7-Diamonds}{2-Spades}{6-Clubs}{8-Clubs} and Lim more than doubled with his ten-high straight.

Bulychev Doubles Through Keijzer

Niveau 12 : 1,200/2,400, 0 ante

Ronald Keijzer has a mountain to climb in the last level of registration after losing the vast majority of his stack to Ilya Bulychev. They got it in after a flop of {9-Spades}{8-Clubs}{6-Diamonds} and Keijzer held {10-Spades}{9-Clubs}{8-Spades}{X-} for top two pair and a straight draw, while Bulychev had already flopped the straight with the {A-Diamonds}{Q-Hearts}{10-Hearts}{7-Clubs}.

Keijzer had some outs, but the {2-Spades} turn and {4-Diamonds} river were not among them.

Ognjen Sekularac and Martin Kabrhel re-entered once more.
