Barriocanal and Pavlyuchuk Among Casualties

Niveau 11 : 1,000/2,000, 0 ante

Oleg Pavlyuchuk has been eliminated and Daniel Barriocanal followed soon after. The Spaniard had doubled Danny Tang in a big pot and sent his remaining 40,000 chips over to Daniel Rezaei. Thanks to plenty of re-entries, the field has already grown to 170 entries and the registration remains open until the start of level 13.

Sixth Time a Charm for Lee?

Niveau 11 : 1,000/2,000, 0 ante
Hokyiu Lee
Hokyiu Lee

Hokyiu Lee had just doubled through Ognjen Sekularac with a seven-high straight and more than doubled right after.

The cards of Ivan Leow were already in the muck while he paid off the 80,300 of Lee, who had hit a full house with {A-Diamonds}{J-Hearts}{10-Clubs}{2-Diamonds} on a board of {J-Clubs}{9-Diamonds}{2-Spades}{7-Diamonds}{2-Hearts}.

"What was the other hand?" Allen Kessler asked and Christopher Back replied "a wrap."

Lee was busy stacking up the chips and grinned "it's my sixth bullet."

Tang Takes Down Marques

Niveau 11 : 1,000/2,000, 0 ante

The flop of {K-Hearts}{5-Hearts}{2-Diamonds} brought an all in and a call and it was Pedro Marques that ended up at risk for around 30,000 against Danny Tang.

Pedro Marques: {A-Hearts}{Q-Diamonds}{9-Hearts}{8-Clubs}
Danny Tang: {A-Diamonds}{K-Clubs}{10-Hearts}{9-Diamonds}

The {7-Diamonds} turn and {7-Spades} river both bricked and Marques was sent to the rail in the penultimate level of registration.

Sekularac Eliminmated by Trajkovski

Niveau 10 : 800/1,600, 0 ante

The turn showed {6-Spades}{5-Hearts}{2-Spades}{J-Diamonds} and Ognjen Sekularac was all in for around 17,000, which was called by Aleksandar Trajkovski.

Sekularac turned over the {A-Spades}{Q-Diamonds}{10-Spades}{6-Hearts} for the nut flush draw and Trajkovski held the {J-Spades}{J-Clubs}{6-Diamonds}{4-Hearts} for top set. The {6-Clubs} river paired the board and gave Trajkovski a full house, sending Sekularac to the rail for now.

Duczak Busts to Jouhkimainen

Niveau 10 : 800/1,600, 0 ante

Jan-Peter Jachtmann limped first to act and Aaron Duczak shoved from one seat over. The pot was 7,200 and Duczak in fact had another 600 chips behind, which mattered very little once Joni Jouhkimainen had reraised to 21,000. All opponents including Jachtmann folded and Duczak called all in for 7,800 total.

Aaron Duczak: {A-Hearts}{8-Hearts}{4-Clubs}{3-Diamonds}
Joni Jouhkimainen: {A-Clubs}{K-Spades}{K-Hearts}{5-Diamonds}

The board came {Q-Diamonds}{8-Spades}{2-Diamonds}{10-Diamonds}{9-Clubs} and Jouhkimainen sent Duczak to the rail on his third bullet of the day. Jesper Hougaard was also eliminated and re-entered right after.

Chen Gets There Against Sturz

Niveau 10 : 800/1,600, 0 ante
James Chen
James Chen

On a flop of {A-Spades}{10-Hearts}{9-Clubs} with more than 67,000 in the middle, James Chen moved all in for 33,900 out of the blinds and markus Sturz almost beat him into the pot.

Chen tabled the {K-Hearts}{Q-Hearts}{J-Spades}{4-Clubs} for a straight draw, while Sturz held [AhAcKds6h] for top set. The {K-Spades} turn improved Chen to a straight and the {J-Hearts} river failed to give Sturz a full house.
