O'Dwyer Eliminates Yu in a Massive Flip

Niveau 9 : 25,000/50,000, 50,000 ante
Winfred Yu
Winfred Yu

Winfred Yu raised it up from early position and Steve O'Dwyer three-bet to 380,000 on the button. Fedor Holz flat-called from the big blind but Yu stuck in a four-bet to 1,230,000. O'Dwyer five-bet jammed all in for nearly 4,000,000 which got Holz to fold and Yu called it off.

Steve O'Dwyer: {j-Spades}{j-Hearts}
Winfred Yu: {a-Hearts}{k-Diamonds}

The flop came {k-Spades}{8-Hearts}{7-Clubs} and Yu took the lead in what was a massive flip. However, the {j-Diamonds} on the turn gave O'Dwyer a set of jacks and Yu was left drawing dead to the {a-Diamonds} on the river. The stacks were counted and Yu started with 3,785,000 while O'Dwyer barely had him covered with 3,845,000.

Loeser Doubles Through Sontheimer

Niveau 9 : 25,000/50,000, 50,000 ante

Steffen Sontheimer raised to 110,000 in middle position and Manig Loeser stuck in a three-bet to 350,000 from the cutoff. The action folded back to Sontheimer who quickly moved all in and Loeser wasted no time in calling off his stack of 1,400,000.

Manig Loeser: {q-Spades}{q-Diamonds}
Steffen Sontheimer: {a-Spades}{q-Hearts}

The flop came {j-Hearts}{7-Hearts}{5-Clubs} keeping Loeser out front with his pocket queens. The {9-Spades} on the turn left Sontheimer drawing to just an ace. The river was the {2-Clubs} and Loeser scored a full double up.

Kempe Makes Use of Second Bullet

Niveau 9 : 25,000/50,000, 50,000 ante

Michael Addamo raised from the button to 125,000 and Rainer Kempe called from the small blind. Stanley Choi three-bet from the big blind to 400,000 and Addamo threw his cards in the muck. Kempe called to see the {7-Diamonds}{2-Hearts}{K-Spades} flop come down.

Kempe check-called a bet of 400,000 on the flop to see the {6-Clubs} turn and he checked again. Choi bet 600,000 and Kempe called again.

The {2-Clubs} river was checked by both players and Kempe showed {K-Clubs}{J-Hearts}. That was enough to win the pot and Kempe won a decent sized pot.
