Daniel Pidun started with a raise to 130,000 in early position and James Chen re-raised to 400,000 on the button. Phil Hellmuth flicked in a four-bet to 1,000,000 from the big blind and Pidun ripped all in for 3,450,000. Chen also pushed all in and Hellmuth couldn't get his stack of just under 2,000,000 in the middle fast enough.

Pidun was way ahead as both of his opponents had their outs blocked. The flop of gave Hellmuth and Chen some backdoor outs but the on the turn brought an end to that. Hellmuth had one out left in the deck but the on the river was not it.

Kahle Burns raised to 125,000 from under the gun and was called by Phil Ivey in the middle position and Anatoly Filatov and Sam Grafton in the blinds.

After a couple of preflop raises, Johannes Becker and Paul Phua got all of their chips in the middle. The two players were in a coin flip with Becker being the player at risk for 1,550,000.

The flop of was safe for Phua who was still out front with two pair. He even improved to a full house on the turn card but it was a cheer from someone at the table "Six!" before the river came out. The completed the board and with quads on the board, Becker's ace-high was good enough to earn him a double up.
