Kempe's Stack is Growing Further

With some 540,000 in the pot and the turn showing {a-Diamonds}{k-Diamonds}{3-Clubs}{a-Clubs}, Anatoly Filatov made it 275,000 to go and Rainer Kempe opted to call on the button.

They headed to the {6-Diamonds} on the river and Filatov checked his option. Kempe fired a bet of 425,000 and that won the pot without any showdown, as Filatov quickly folded.

Burns Wins From Katz

Niveau 2 : 10,000/20,000, 20,000 ante

Kahle Burns opened the action with a raise to 50,000 and Cary Katz three-bet to 150,000, Burns quickly tossed in the additional chips.

After the {a-Clubs}{j-Spades}{10-Diamonds} flop, Burns checked and called a bet of 100,000 by Katz to see the {6-Spades} turn. Both now opted to check and it was Burns that bet the {a-Diamonds} river for 375,000. No call followed as Katz sent his cards into the muck.

Chen Hits the Ground Running

Niveau 2 : 10,000/20,000, 20,000 ante

James Chen just took his seat to the left of Alex Foxen and the two players quickly got involved in a three-bet pot. The dealer fanned the flop of {q-Spades}{5-Hearts}{4-Diamonds} and Foxen check-called a bet of 125,000 from Chen.

The turn was the {9-Hearts} and Foxen checked again. Chen tossed in another bet of 250,000 and Foxen quickly called. The river was the {4-Clubs} and both players knuckled the table. Chen flipped over {j-Spades}{j-Clubs} and Foxen was unable to beat it.

Vogelsang Raises Big On The River

Niveau 2 : 10,000/20,000, 20,000 ante

In a battle cutoff versus big blind, Christoph Vogelsang faced a check-raise on the {8-Diamonds}{2-Spades}{2-Clubs} flop as Koray Aldemir had made it 125,000 to go. Vogelsang tossed in calling chips and they headed to the {6-Clubs} turn on which Aldemir bet 400,000, Vogelsang called.

After the {6-Spades} river, Aldemir used one time bank extension and bet 385,000. Vogelsang eventually raised to 3.1 million with 585,000 behind and hid his face behind the hands in order to not give away any reaction.

Aldemir eventually gave up the pot and Vogelsang climbed back above the starting stack.

Fellow Triton Poker founder Paul Phua had already been in contention for some time and Richard Yong joined the action in the third level of the day. He took a seat between Anatoly Filatov and Christoph Vogelsang, which brings up the field size to 20 players in their seats.

Filatov Bombs the River

Koray Aldemir raised it up to 60,000 on the button and Anatoly Filatov defended from the big blind. The flop came {9-Hearts}{6-Spades}{3-Clubs} and Filatov check-called a bet of 50,000 from Aldemir.

The turn brought the {7-Diamonds} and Filatov led out for 175,000. Aldemir called and the {a-Diamonds} completed the board. Filatov reached back for a bet of 700,000 and Aldemir was forced to let his hand go.

Small Pot for Filatov

Koray Aldemir defended his big blind against a raise by Anatoly Filatov and check-called a bet of 50,000 on the {a-Clubs}{q-Diamonds}{j-Spades} flop. On the {j-Clubs} turn, Aldemir checked again and a bet of 200,000 by Filatov won the pot.

One hand later, Christoph Vogelsang opened to 60,000 and Danny Tang three-bet to 190,000 to shut down all further action.
