Zhou and Mrakes No More

Niveau 18 : 8,000/16,000, 16,000 ante
Quan Zhou
Quan Zhou

Quan Zhou had nursed a shorter stack for quite some time and just flopped top pair with {j-Clubs}{10-Clubs} only to find himself up against the {q-Hearts}{q-Diamonds} of Saar Wilf for an overpair on the {j-}{9-}{6-} flop. The {9-Diamonds} turn and {a-Spades} river were both blanks and Zhou headed to the payout desk.

Shortly after, Michal Mrakes was also spotted on the way out of the poker arena. Julien Martini and David "ODB" Baker confirmed what had happened. Harry Ross had opened to 40,000 and picked up calls by Mustafa Biz and Georgios Vrakas. Mrakes pushed for 500,000 out of the blinds with the {k-Diamonds}{9-Diamonds} and Ross reshoved with jacks to hold up on a ten-high board.
