Rough Two Hands for Walter

Niveau 21 : 15,000/30,000, 30,000 ante
Viktor Walter
Viktor Walter

Karol Konopka opened to 60,000 in the hijack and Viktor Walter called from the cutoff. The flop came {7-Diamonds}{6-Diamonds}{2-Diamonds} and Konopka continued for 75,000. Walter called and the {2-Spades} paired the board on the turn.

Konopka jammed all in for his last 205,000 and Walter tanked before calling it off. Konopka turned over {j-Diamonds}{10-Diamonds} for a flush while Walter held {a-Hearts}{2-Hearts}. The river was the {q-Clubs} and Walter handed over a double up.

In the very next hand, Walter shipped all in for around 700,000 and Enrico Camosci quickly called from the big blind. Walter flipped over {a-Clubs}{8-Spades} but was in tough against the {q-Hearts}{q-Clubs} of Camosci.

The board ran out {j-Diamonds}{8-Hearts}{4-Diamonds}{j-Clubs}{6-Spades} and Walter was eliminated before the pay jump.
