Niveau 16 : 5,000/10,000, 10,000 ante

Rifat Palevic limped from the hijack and Ghattas Kortas raised to 36,000 from the button. Enrico Camosci three-bet jammed for 700,000 from the big blind. Palevic quickly folded but Kortas, with about 200,000 behind, went deep into the tank for a few minutes. He eventually opted to fold and Camosci showed {a-Clubs}{j-Spades} before raking in the pot.

Schulze Gets Away with One

Niveau 16 : 5,000/10,000, 10,000 ante

A couple of the chip leaders decided to play one of the largest pots of the tournament thus far with huge implications on the money bubble. Felix Schulze raised to 21,000 in the cutoff and Daan Mulders three-bet to 70,000 on the button which Schulze called.

The flop came {10-Diamonds}{8-Clubs}{3-Diamonds} and Schulze checked to Mulders who bet 60,000. Schulze check-raised to 184,000 and Mulder called. The turn brought the {6-Clubs} and Schulze pushed out a bet of 475,000. Mulders still called to create a pot of over 1,500,000.

The {2-Hearts} completed the board and Schulze announced all in. It appeared as though Mulders was covered with a stack of around 1,470,000. He thought for over a minute before finally sending his cards to the muck. Schulze showed the {k-Diamonds} as he was awarded the pot.

Ace-High Works for Schulze

Niveau 16 : 5,000/10,000, 10,000 ante

Two big stacks tangled in a medium-sized pot on the money bubble when a battle of the blinds between Felix Schulze and Daan Mulders saw a turn of {6-Spades}{4-Hearts}{4-Clubs}{10-Hearts}. Schulze checked and Mulders made 120,000 to pick up a call by Schulze.

After the {j-Spades} river, Schulze quickly checked and Mulders needed three minutes of consideration to check behind. Schulze turned over the {a-Spades}{8-Diamonds} and that won the pot.

Levi Grabs Chips From Klezys

Niveau 16 : 5,000/10,000, 10,000 ante

Kasparas Klezys raised to 22,000 under the gun and Shahar Levi three-bet to 60,000 from one seat over. Action folded back to Klezys who stuck around with a call.

The dealer spread a flop of {k-Spades}{8-Spades}{3-Hearts} and Klezys checked. Levi bet 45,000 and Klezys check-called. The turn was the {9-Clubs} and was checked through to the {a-Spades} river. Both players opted to check again. Klezys turned over {k-Diamonds}{q-Diamonds} for a pair of kings but that wasn't good enough as Levi turned over {a-Hearts}{2-Diamonds} for a rivered pair of aces to take down the pot.

Martini Calls River with Queen High

Niveau 16 : 5,000/10,000, 10,000 ante

Julien Martini won a big pot against David "ODB" Baker which is the pot that send him to over 2.5 million chips. The board was reading {a-Diamonds}{7-Hearts}{3-Hearts}{7-Diamonds} on the turn, and Martini was in the cutoff, while Baker was on the button.

Martini bet 125,000 on the turn and Baker called with the {5-Clubs} completing the board on the river.

Martini checked, Baker slipped a bet at 150,000, and Martini called rather quickly to see Baker open {9-Hearts}{8-Hearts}. His instinct was totally accurate since he opened {q-Diamonds}{j-Spades} with just queen-high that was enough to give him the pot.
