Anas Belatik: {a-Clubs}{q-Spades}
Jorma Nuutinen: {a-Spades}{8-Hearts}

The runout was {10-Clubs}{7-Clubs}{3-Diamonds}{9-Hearts}{3-Spades} and Belatik stayed ahead to double up.

Short-Stack Battle

Niveau 22 : 20,000/40,000, 40,000 ante

In the first hand after the redraw, Deniz Dogan moved all in for 290,000 in early position. Anas Belatik re-shoved all in on the button and the blinds folded.

Deniz Dogan: {8-Clubs}{8-Diamonds}
Anas Belatik: {a-Clubs}{10-Spades}

It turned out to be a coin flip between the two players. The board ran out {j-Clubs}{4-Spades}{3-Hearts}{7-Spades}{3-Clubs} and Dogan held on for a double up and left Belatik with under 10 big blinds.

Sammartino Scores a Double KO

Niveau 22 : 20,000/40,000, 40,000 ante
Alex Foxen
Alex Foxen

Alex Foxen ripped all in for 630,000 in the cutoff and Georgios Vrakas re-shoved all in for 1,375,000 on the button. Dario Sammartino was in the big blind and asked for a count of the stacks before making the call.

Dario Sammartino: {10-Spades}{10-Hearts}
Georgios Vrakas: {k-Clubs}{q-Clubs}
Alex Foxen: {a-Spades}{9-Diamonds}

The crowd gathered around the table to witness the monster pot as the dealer fanned the flop. The {q-Hearts} in the window got a reaction from Vrakas but it was quickly followed by the {10-Diamonds}{2-Spades}.

"Nooooo!" Vrakas shouted as Sammartino's set of tens was well out front. The {a-Hearts} landed on the turn and the {8-Diamonds} completed the board to give Sammartino even more chips.

Baker Flushes Luetkemeier Out

Niveau 22 : 20,000/40,000, 40,000 ante
Philipp Luetkemeier
Philipp Luetkemeier

The action was folded to David "ODB" Baker on the button and grabbed a tower of blue chips, representing the biggest part of his stack, to put them in the middle. Philipp Luetkemeier was on the big blind and announced all in as soon as he peaked at his cards, and Baker put the rest of his stack in the pot to call.

Philipp Luetkemeier: {9-Hearts}{9-Spades}
David "ODB" Baker: {a-Diamonds}{9-Diamonds}

The flop didn't leave many hopes to Luetkemeier, with the {q-Diamonds}{10-Diamonds}{2-Diamonds} giving the nut flush to Baker. He was hoping for some runner-runner cards to improve to a full house in order to survive, but neither the {8-Diamonds} on the turn nor the {2-Spades} on the river helped him and he departed for a €26,986 payday.

Madsen Takes From Dogan

Niveau 22 : 20,000/40,000, 40,000 ante

On a flop reading {k-Clubs}{j-Diamonds}{6-Hearts}, Jakob Madsen checked from the small blind along with Alfred Kovezman in the big blind. Deniz Dogan bet 100,000 from middle position and Madsen check-called but Kovezman folded.

The turn was the {q-Clubs} and Madsen check-called another bet of 150,000 from Dogan.

The river brought the {2-Hearts} and both players opted to check. Madsen turned over {k-Diamonds}{5-Hearts} for a pair of kings and Dogan tossed his cards in the muck.

Lubas Doubles Again

Niveau 22 : 20,000/40,000, 40,000 ante

Michal Lubas opened to 85,000 from under the gun and David "ODB" Baker three-bet to 280,000 in the cutoff. Felix Schulze four-bet shoved all in from the big blind which got a call from Lubas and a fold from Baker.

Michal Lubas: {j-Spades}{j-Diamonds}
Felix Schulze: {a-Hearts}{k-Spades}

The flop came {k-Clubs}{q-Clubs}{8-Spades} to give Schulze the lead with a pair of kings. The {3-Spades} on the turn changed nothing but the {j-Hearts} on the river was the two-outer that Lubas needed in order to stay alive.
