Hansson Goes Runner-Runner for the Wheel

In what started as a limped pot, Valter Hansson out of the small blind and Önder Yavuz in the big blind repotted to get some 15,300 each into the middle. They headed to the flop on which Hansson jammed for 18,200 and Yavuz called with the covering stack by one big blind.

"He has kings," Yavuz predicted but Ricardas Vymeris on the button replied "no, I folded kings."

The turn gave Hansson unexpected outs and he got there with the river. Yavuz had some 800 chips left, which he lost the next hand.

Schakeri Shakes Zech

On a board of , Schayan Schakeri doubled through Quirin Zech when his made quads. With a dry smile on the face, Zech wished his opponent a happy birthday as he forked over 30,000 on the tail end while his were briefly exposed.

Schakeri was not only busy with stacking the chips, he also opened a snack and munched on it while offering some to table neighbour Marek Blasko. Zech was down to two blinds after the hand and busted.

"I already had a big stack and then I got it in preflop for 75k with 8765, not sure what happened to me," Michael Magalashvili said. He then re-entered but already lost more than half of the stack.

He just now opened to 2,000 to earn one caller and bet the flop to claim the pot.

One table over, Miha Pirsic and Jose Obadia have thrived on their respective re-entries and are among the bigger stacks.

Barbarez Bets Out Alioto
