Play Goes Hand for Hand After Marechal Elimination

Niveau 19 : 10,000/20,000, 20,000 ante

Guillaume Marechal was all in preflop and had been called by Opener winner Antonello Ferraiuolo.

Guillaume Marechal: {a-Clubs}{q-Clubs}
Antonello Ferraiuolo: {a-Spades}{10-Spades}

Marechal was in good shape for a double, but Ferraiuolo spiked a ten on the {7-Clubs}{10-Diamonds}{j-Hearts}{3-Spades}{2-Clubs} runout and Marechal was eliminated.

Play is now hand for hand before the final 60 bag for Day 2.

Mahmut Ersin opened to 50,000 in late position and was called by Gudmundur Sigurjonsson in the big blind.

On the {q-Clubs}{j-Spades}{3-Hearts} flop, Ersin continued for 50,000 and then called the all-in from Sigurjonsson.

Sigurjonsson only had Ersin slightly covered and their cards went face up.

Mahmut Ersin: {a-Clubs}{q-Spades}
Gudmundur Sigurjonsson: {a-Hearts}{j-Clubs}

Ersin was a shoe in for a double up on the {10-Spades} turn but the {j-Hearts} river sealed his fate and he was eliminated near the bubble.

Spyckerelle Puts on Pressure

Niveau 19 : 10,000/20,000, 20,000 ante

In a bloated pot on the board of {j-Diamonds}{5-Hearts}{3-Diamonds}{4-Diamonds}, Denislav Petkov bet 90,000 and then called the 250,000 raise from Quinten Spyckerelle.

On the {10-Diamonds} river, Spyckerelle jammed all-in, putting Petkov to the test and at risk. Eventually he folded and the chip leader turned over {7-Diamonds}{7-Spades}.

Mothes Knocks One Out

Niveau 19 : 10,000/20,000, 20,000 ante
Pierre Mothes
Pierre Mothes

Dimitrios Michaildis moved all-in for 340,000 under the gun and Pierre Mothes re-shoved for 500,000 which folded out the remaining players on the table.

Dimitrios Michaildis: {a-Spades}{q-Spades}
Pierre Mothes: {a-Diamonds}{k-Hearts}

On the {j-Diamonds}{10-Hearts}{5-Clubs} flop, Michaildis now needed to hit a king instead of a queen to double up. The rest of the runout came the {3-Clubs} and the {4-Spades} for Mothes to scoop the pot.
