Overgaard Goes Runner-Runner to Top the Leaderboard

Niveau 14 : 1,000/2,500, 2,500 ante

Tim Overgaard and Radek Mlcak were two of the bigger stacks in the tournament and found themselves sitting across from each other on the same table. On a flop of {j-Clubs}{j-Diamonds}{7-Spades}, Overgaard tossed in a bet of 9,000 from middle position and Mlcak called on the button.

The turn brought the {5-Diamonds} and Overgaard fired out another bet of 30,000. Mlcak still called and the {8-Diamonds} completed the board. Overgaard reached back for a bet of 120,000 and Mlcak asked for a count before flicking in a call.

Overgaard turned over {k-Diamonds}{q-Diamonds} for a runner-runner flush and Mlcak was forced to muck his cards. Mlcak was left with just 39,000 after the hand and was eliminated shortly after.

Richards Rivers a Flush

Niveau 15 : 1,500/3,000, 3,000 ante

Christopher Richards raised it up from middle position and Stefan Neurauter defended from the big blind. The flop came {3-Spades}{3-Clubs}{2-Diamonds} and both players checked to the {6-Spades} on the turn.

Neurauter checked again and Richards tossed in a bet of 10,000. Neurauter called and the {7-Spades} completed the board. Neurauter checked once more and Richards dropped in a bet of 20,000. Neurauter instantly called and Richards turned over {a-Spades}{10-Spades} for the nut flush which won the pot.

Peters Shows a Bluff

Niveau 16 : 2,000/4,000, 4,000 ante

With around 40,000 in the middle and the board reading {7-Diamonds}{5-Spades}{4-Spades}{10-Spades}, Tobias Peters checked to Munkhbayar Nyamsuren who bet 31,000. Peters check-raised all in for 74,000 and Nyamsuren asked for a count before laying his hand down.

Peters showed the table his {j-Clubs}{9-Clubs} for just jack-high and Nyamsuren was left shaking his head as Peters dragged in the pot.

Andersen Takes Out Vignoboul

Niveau 16 : 2,000/4,000, 4,000 ante

Thierry Vignoboul raised to 15,000 in the hijack and Jesper Andersen pushed all in for 128,000 on the button. The blinds folded and Vignoboul called off his stack of 106,000.

Thierry Vignoboul: {k-Spades}{8-Spades}
Jesper Andersen: {a-Spades}{j-Spades}

The flop came {j-Clubs}{10-Hearts}{6-Hearts} to give Andersen the lead with a pair of jacks. The {q-Spades} on the turn gave Vignoboul a straight draw but the {2-Clubs} on the river bricked out.

Everything is a Cooler

Niveau 16 : 2,000/4,000, 4,000 ante
Martin Kabrhel
Martin Kabrhel

Klaus Schiefer opened to 8,000 in early position and was called by Milad Oghabian in the cutoff and Martin Kabrhel in the small blind.

The flop came {q-Clubs}{j-Spades}{3-Clubs} and the action checked to Oghabian who bet 20,000. Kabrhel called and Schiefer jammed all in for 101,000. Oghabian quickly folded and Kabrhel asked if it was a bluff, to which Schiefer responded with a "yes". Kabrhel quickly flicked in a chip to call and tabled his {j-Diamonds}{10-Clubs} which was up against the {a-Clubs}{5-Clubs} of Schiefer.

The {4-Hearts} on the turn also gave Schiefer a straight draw but the {9-Spades} on the river bricked everything. Kabrhel collected the pot and Schiefer headed for the exit.

"It was a cooler," Kabrhel said. "Everything is a cooler."
