Hernandez Flops a Boat

Niveau 7 : 1,000/2,000, 2,000 ante

Leonid Yanovski raised to 4,000 in the cutoff and Stuart Rutter called in the small blind. Albert Hernandez three-bet to 12,000 in the big blind and Yanovski eyeballed the stacks of his opponents before clicking it up to 30,000. Rutter folded, Hernandez jammed for 58,000 and Yanovski called.

Albert Hernandez: {q-Hearts}{q-Diamonds}{3-Hearts}{2-Clubs}
Leonid Yanovski: {a-Diamonds}{k-Spades}{j-Diamonds}{3-Diamonds}

The {q-Spades}{7-Clubs}{7-Hearts} flop gave Hernandez a full house and that made the {5-Diamonds} turn and {j-Clubs} river a formality as Yanovski could all but grin.

Eldabach Scores Another Elimination

Niveau 7 : 1,000/2,000, 2,000 ante
Dorel Eldabach
Dorel Eldabach

"I called three times," Dorel Eldabach said as he had just raked in the pot. His cards and the board were still tabled while Benedikt Eberle was sent to the rail with apparent straight blockers. They were no good as the {q-Spades}{j-Hearts}{9-Clubs}{8-Clubs} of Eldabach for two pair on the {j-Clubs}{8-Spades}{7-Diamonds}{6-Hearts}{3-Diamonds} board ended up as the winning hand.

Hu Doubles Through Taberham

Niveau 7 : 1,000/2,000, 2,000 ante

"What can you do? You just have about enough that I have to call," Simon Taberham said with a dry smile after he had paid off the double for David Hu. On a board of {10-Clubs}{10-Hearts}{8-Diamonds}{a-Spades}{5-Spades}, Hu's {q-Hearts}{10-Spades}{8-Spades}{8-Hearts} was good enough as Taberham only held {k-Clubs}{j-Clubs}{j-Diamonds}{10-Diamonds} for trips tens to concede a portion of his stack.

Schamaun Doubles Through Sitbon

Niveau 7 : 1,000/2,000, 2,000 ante

Martin Schamaun got his short stack of 35,000 in after the {q-Diamonds}{5-Clubs}{5-Diamonds}{9-Diamonds} turn and his {a-Hearts}{q-Hearts}{5-Spades}{4-Spades} already had secured at least half the pot. Julien Sitbon only held {a-Clubs}{8-Diamonds}{5-Hearts}{2-Diamonds} for a flush and needed an ace to chop. However, the {6-Spades} river brought no upset and Schamaun doubled.

Eldabach Wins Without Showdown

Niveau 7 : 1,000/2,000, 2,000 ante

[Removed:308] called a raise to 4,500 by Benedikt Eberle and Dorel Eldabach came along in the small blind, as did Jonas Kronwitter in the big blind. They checked to the {a-Diamonds}{q-Clubs}{9-Clubs}{a-Clubs}{5-Clubs} river on which Eldabach bet 20,000 to win the pot uncontested.

Second Break of the Day

Niveau 6 : 800/1,600, 1,600 ante

Only 68 players out of 110 entries remain and they have been sent into a scheduled 15-minute break. The black T-100 chips will be raced off as they are no longer required for the tournament.

Achegsei Doubles Through Pärssinen

Niveau 6 : 800/1,600, 1,600 ante

Three ways to the {q-Clubs}{10-Spades}{7-Spades}{k-Hearts} turn, Ahmad Achegsei ended up at risk for 56,000 with the {8-Clubs}{7-Clubs}{7-Diamonds}{x-Spades} and was looked up by Eelis Pärssinen with the {a-Spades}{q-Hearts}{j-Spades}{9-Hearts} for the nut straight while Julien Sitbon folded. The {q-Spades} river improved Achegsei to a full house and he doubled.
