Kabrhel Takes the Lead

Niveau 6 : 500/1,000, 1,000 ante
Martin Kabrhel
Martin Kabrhel

Martin Kabrhel and Daniel Rezaei were heads-up in a three-bet pot with the board reading {q-Spades}{10-Diamonds}{7-Diamonds}{a-Hearts}{9-Clubs}. Kabrhel was doing his typical table talk with Rezaei who finally called the clock.

"Your train is leaving?" Kabrhel asked as he reached for a bunch of random chips to drop in the pot. It was a total bet of 37,700 on the river that Rezaei quickly called.

Kabrhel turned over {a-Spades}{k-Hearts} and Rezaei was unable to beat it, sending another big pot to Karbhel who has taken the lead.

"You had ace-queen?" Kabrhel asked, throwing more salt in the wound. Rezaei claimed to have had {a-Diamonds}{j-Diamonds} for an inferior kicker.

Schemion Bombs the River

Niveau 5 : 400/800, 800 ante

A completed board of {a-Diamonds}{q-Clubs}{5-Hearts}{3-Diamonds}{6-Hearts} was spread across the felt with around 90,000 in the middle already. Ole Schemion and Francesco Baglione were heads-up in the pot and Schemion fired out a big bet of 100,000. Baglione flicked in a chip to call and Schemion turned over {a-Clubs}{q-Diamonds} for two pair. Baglione showed {a-Hearts}{k-Diamonds} before he sent over his chips.

Jachtmann Doubles Into a Big Stack

Niveau 5 : 400/800, 800 ante
Jan Peter Jachtmann
Jan Peter Jachtmann

Christopher Puetz and Jan-Peter Jachtmann tangled in a pot that seemed rather trivial when Puetz check-called twice on the {a-Diamonds}{j-Clubs}{2-Clubs} flop and {4-Clubs} turn. That brought a pot of around 28,000 to the {6-Diamonds} river and Puetz checked.

Jachtmann now bet 18,000 and Puetz check-jammed big to see Jachtmann vault out of his seat in surprise. He started some table chat and eventually called it off for the 176,300 he had at his disposal.

"Ace queen," Puetz announced and Jachtmann celebrated with a "double me up, yeah" before flashing his {9-Clubs}{7-Clubs} for a flush. Puetz had {a-Clubs}{q-Diamonds} for the top pair and nut flush blocker.

Von Gahlen Doubles Through Madanzhiev

Niveau 5 : 400/800, 800 ante

Marc von Gahlen raised it up on the button and Stoyan Madanzhiev called from the small blind. Lars Kamphues three-bet to 17,000 from the big blind and Von Gahlen just called. Madanzhiev four-bet shoved which got Kamphues to fold but Von Gahlen quickly called off his stack of 92,500.

Marc von Gahlen: {q-Spades}{q-Clubs}
Stoyan Madanzhiev: {5-Hearts}{5-Diamonds}

The flop came {q-Diamonds}{j-Hearts}{10-Clubs} and Von Gahlen took a commanding lead with a set of queens. The {3-Spades} on the turn sealed the deal and the {3-Diamonds} finished it off on the river.

Somers Felted by Hamouche

Niveau 5 : 400/800, 800 ante

The short stack of Fabrice Somers went into the middle with the {a-Spades}{q-Hearts} and he was well ahead of Romain Hamouche with the {k-Hearts}{q-Spades}. However, the board ran out {k-Spades}{5-Hearts}{4-Diamonds}{2-Diamonds}{j-Hearts} and Hamouche paired his king to bust the Belgian.

Rasmussen Binks the River Against Berdis

Niveau 5 : 400/800, 800 ante

David Berdis opened to 1,800 and earned a call from Patrick Rasmussen. Mathijs Jonkers three-bet to 8,000 in the small blind and Jack Sinclair called in the big blind, as did the open raiser and Rasmussen.

On the {10-Hearts}{7-Hearts}{4-Spades} flop, Jonkers bet 11,000 and Sinclair folded, Berdis and Rasmussen called. That led a trio the {8-Spades} turn and Jonkers checked, Berdis jammed and Rasmussen went over the top for Jonkers to snap-fold.

David Berdis: {7-Spades}{7-Clubs}
Patrick Rasmussen: {8-Hearts}{6-Hearts}

The double draw of the Dane got there as the {9-Diamonds} river completed the board.

Jachtmann Wins with Top Pair

Niveau 5 : 400/800, 800 ante

Roland Israelashvili opened to 2,200 from under the gun and was called by Jonathan Jean in middle position and Jan-Peter Jachtmann in the big blind. The flop came {10-Hearts}{7-Spades}{6-Diamonds} and Israelashvili continued for 3,600. Both Jean and Jachtmann called to see the {7-Clubs} on the turn.

Jachtmann and Israelashvili checked this time and Jean fired out a bet of 5,200. Jachtmann called as did Israelashvili. The {5-Spades} completed the board and all three players rapped the table. Jachtmann showed {q-Spades}{10-Diamonds} for top pair which proved to be the best hand.
