Schmidt Gets Value Against Chidwick

Stephen Chidwick and Fabian Schmidt, a GGPoker WSOPE Main Event Qualifier, were heads up on a 6510 flop. Chidwick called a 4,000 bet from Schmidt and then both players checked on the J turn.

Schmidt bet 7,000 on the 5 river and Chidwick called. Schmidt tabled J3 for jacks-up and Chidwick mucked — sending the pot Schmidt's way.

Maugini Four-Bets, Then Shoves on Mateos

Adrian Mateos had a three-bet of 5,000 in front of him before Vittorio Maugini four-bet to 14,000 under the gun.

Mateos called and the flop came 6Q5. Maugini led out for another 8,500 and Mateos called once again.

Both players checked the 3 turn. The river was the 9 and Maugini moved all in for around 58,000. Mateos considered the decision for only around 30 seconds before mucking his cards.

Saffran Hits Broadway on the River

With 4,000 in the middle at the turn with the board of QJ87, Manig Loeser bet 2,300 from middle position and was called by Robert Saffran in the big blind.

The A on the river prompted Saffron to lead for 7,900. Loeser went into the tank and opted to call. Saffran tabled K10 for the nut straight and dragged in a hefty pot.

Giovanni Giudice opened to 1,200 from the cutoff and Alexander Norden called from the small blind.

Both players checked the 854 flop leading to the 9 turn. Norden bet 1,400 and Giudice made the call.

Norden bet again for 3,600 on the 2 river and once again Giudice called. Norden tabled K8 for second pair which was good enough to take the pot.

Kropmanns Picks One Off Dirig

Heads-up on a board of 2897, Ramon Kropmanns bet 6,500 from the cutoff and Gael Dirig called in the hijack.

The river came the 10 and Dirig then led out for 11,000. Kropmanns spent nearly two minutes thinking about the decision before calling.

Dirig showed A10 for top pair, but Kropmanns had 108 for a flush to win the pot.

Marcus Skowronek opened to 1,300 from early position and action folded to Daniel Rezaei in the small blind, who three-bet to 5,000. Skowronek called.

Skowronek called a 3,000 bet from Rezaei on the K4Q flop, but folded after Rezaei sized up for a 12,500 bet on the 2 turn.

Kiyak Shove Gets Through Cimbolas

With 8,000 in the middle on the flop of J102, Matas Cimbolas bet 4,000 from the cutoff. Tolga Kiyak check-jammed from the hijack for 22,000.

Cimbolas went into the tank and assessed his stack. He decided not to risk it and folded and Kiyak dragged in the pot.
