Heath Bombs the Turn on Sertkan

Niveau 3 : Blinds 300/500, 500 ante

Ben Heath raised to 1,300 under the gun before Andrea Radicchi three-bet to 4,500 in early position. Erguen Sertkan called on the button, as did Heath and they went three-handed to the 63K flop.

Action checked to Sertkan and he bet 12,500. Only Heath called and the 5 fell on the turn.

Sertkan then bet another 31,500 and Heath paused for a minute before emerging with a raise to 80,000. Sertkan, who was looking down watching a video on his phone, suddenly shot up to stare at the board as he went into the tank. Nearly two minutes went by before he folded.

Cintula Climbs Back

Niveau 3 : Blinds 300/500, 500 ante

Andrej Cintula and Jovan Kenjic were battling over 13,500 chips when the hand arrived on the turn on Q965. Cintula checked from middle position and Kenjic made a bet of 11,600 from the button.

Cintula thought about it for a bit before committing a call to the middle, and the 7 turn completed the board. Both players then checked in quick succession and Cintula tabled 87 for a turned straight.

Kenjic mucked his cards as he could not beat that and Cintula chipped back up to above the starting stack.

Wieckenberg Bests Achille Flush Over Flush, Stroke Laments Lost Opportunity

Niveau 3 : Blinds 300/500, 500 ante

On a flop of 5K4, Shawn Stroke bet 2,500 from the big blind and Jacopo Achille called under the gun. Jan Wieckenberg then raised to 7,500 in the hijack.

Stroke called, but Achille put in a reraise to 27,000. Wieckenberg called, while Stroke got out of the way. The turn came the 5 and Achille checked over to Wieckenberg, who bet 12,000.

Achille called and the 6 fell on the river. Both players then checked and Wieckenberg showed A3 for the nut flush, while Achille had 109.

"I win this pot. I folded king-five on the flop. Why did you reraise, man," Stroke lamented as he would've made a full house on the turn.

"Good River" For Sidhu

Niveau 3 : Blinds 300/500, 500 ante

Kuljinder Sidhu raised to 1,000 from early position and was called by Santhosh Suvarna in the hijack.

Suvarna proceeded to call Sidhu down for 2,500 on the 8Q8 flop, 6,000 on the 6 turn, and 12,000 on the Q river.

Sidhu revealed AQ for queens-full, which got a "Good river" from Suvarna as he mucked.

"It's a stupid game," Nick Palma added.

Boghean Wins Big Pot on the Turn

Niveau 3 : Blinds 300/500, 500 ante

Quan Zhou had raised under the gun and Nikola Minkov called from the hijack. Andrei Boghean then three-bet to 5,000 from the button and both opponents called him.

The action checked to the three-better on the K42 flop and he put another 4,000 chips in the pot. This time, only Zhou made the call as Minkov got out of the way.

Zhou checked again on the J turn and Boghean fiddled with his chips a bit before deciding on a bet of 16,000. Zhou quickly folded and surrendered to pot to his adversary.

Shawn Stroke

Shawn Stroke had just lost a massive pot to Maduka Meragal in which he rivered a set of queens, but the same card gave Meragal the nut straight.

"I rivered a set. You river the nuts. How does that happen," Stroke lamented as he was knocked down to around 60,000.

Stroke soon after got involved in another pot, three-betting to 4,200 on the button after Motokatsu Uhara had raised to 1,300 in the hijack.

Uhara called and both players checked to the river on a board of J10384. Uhara then led out for 7,000 and Stroke raised to 15,000.

Uhara came back with a reraise to 30,000 and Stroke sighed and mucked his hand.

Mateos Continues to Climb

Niveau 3 : Blinds 300/500, 500 ante

Three ways on a A7K flop, Ramzi Zuraikat checked from the small blind and Erik Borkvik checked from middle position to Adrian Mateos, who bet 3,500 from the cutoff. Both Zuraikat and Borkvik called.

It was checked to Mateos again on the 9 turn and he sized up for a bet of 15,000. Again, both of his opponents called.

Nobody put chips in after the 9 filled the river and Zuraikat turned over J10. Borkvik mucked and Mateos tabled AQ for aces-up, which was good for the large pot.

"If I didn't have a double-gutter I wouldn't have called the turn!" Zuraikat exclaimed as Mateos collected the chips.

Athanasios Kidas
Athanasios Kidas

Athanasios Kidas opened to 1,000 from under the gun and called when Erguen Sertkan three-bet to 3,000. Kidas check-called for a small bet on the 10K3 flop, bringing in the 8 turn. Kidas led out for 5,100 and called when Sertkan raised to 17,500.

The Q completed the board, and Kidas led out again for 30,000. Sertkan went into the tank but audibly gave his opponent credit for the flush and folded.

Kidas proudly turned over 75 for a complete airball which raised the eyebrows of David Miscikowski, who is at the table.

"Fool me one time," laughed Sertkan as he gave Kidas credit for his betting line.

Emil Bise
Emil Bise

Emil Bise recently took his seat in the Main event and opened from the button. Andras Balogh then put in a three-bet from the big blind and Bise called, creating a 13,700 chip pot. Balogh made a continuation-bet on the 82A flop and Bise raised to 7,200.

Balogh made the call and called the 7,000 bet of Bise on the J turn as well. The 9 river then had both players check and Balogh quickly flashed KxQx for just king-high. Bise had that beat with 108 for a pair of eights and he raked in the pot.

Bise has already won two bracelets in Rozvadov in previous years and is off to a good start to add a third to his collection in the Main Event.

With 30,000 already in the pot and the board showing 7A56, Ali Amelipour, impeccably dressed in a suit and tie, led out for 10,000 from the big blind.

Jovan Kenjic called on the button and the 10 fell on the river. Amelipour then fired out another 25,000.

Kenjic responded by moving all in, putting Amelipour to a decision for his last 55,000. Amelipour tanked for about two minutes before giving up his hand.
