Dvoress' Huge Bluff Picked Off; Did Rcheulishvili Call in Time?

Niveau 2 : Blinds 200/400, 400 ante
Daniel Dvoress
Daniel Dvoress

Daniel Dvoress opened to 1,200 from the button before Levan Rcheulishvili three-bet to 6,000 from the small blind. James Chen folded in the big blind, and Dvoress called.

Dvoress called a bet of 4,000 on the AJ10 flop, which brought in the 7 turn. Rcheulishvili then checked, prompting Dvoress to fire for 16,000. Rcheulishvili thought it over and called to beef the pot to 52,800.

Rcheulishvili checked again on the 6 river and after some thinking of his own, Dvoress moved all in for 49,300. Rcheulishvili went deep into the tank, and after a few minutes, Dvoress called the clock.

The tournament director began the countdown. It appeared time had expired, but Rcheulishvili called just as the dealer had his hand on Rcheulishvili's cards.

Dvoress tabled Q5 for queen-high while Rcheulishvili tabled AK for top pair, top kicker.

"Just in time," said a table mate. "Technically not, but close enough," Chen added.

You could see the adrenaline pumping through Rcheulishvili as he took in the pot. Dvoress still has one more life due to not firing a bullet in Day 1a.

There was no complaint from Dvoress and he headed out of the tournament room.

Amelipour Limp-Four-Bets

Niveau 2 : Blinds 200/400, 400 ante

Ali Amelipour limped in from the button before Tom Kunze made a raise to 1,000 from the small blind. Andras Nemeth then three-bet to 4,000 and the action was back Amelipour.

He thought it over for a few minutes and looked at his cards one more time before raising the stakes to 11,000. Kunze quickly got out of the way, but Nemeth made the call.

The Q10Q flop was then checked by both Nemeth and Amelipour, before the latter put out a 5,000 bet on the 10 turn, after another check from Nemeth.

Nemeth then also released his hand, and the unconventional move brought Amelipour plenty of profit.

Fischer Stuns Eisele on the River

Niveau 2 : Blinds 200/400, 400 ante

Heads-up on a flop of 554, Andreas Fischer bet 5,500 from the cutoff and Gerald Eisele called in the small blind.

The turn came the 7 and Fischer bet another 5,100. Eisele again called and the 8 fell on the river.

Fischer then bet 17,000 and Eisele immediately tossed in a blue 25,000 chip to signify a call. Fischer turned over 77, showing Eisele a full house.

Eisele snapped back in his seat and stopped to take a photo of the board before showing KK and angrily tossing it into the muck, shaking his head in frustration as the big pot was pushed to Fischer.

Cho continued for 6,500 and Miegel made another call, while Soika got out of the way. Cho then put Miegel all-in on the K turn, for 46,000 chips.

Miegel spent a few minutes thinking it over but ended up making the laydown. Cho was kind enough to show the A to him as the pot was sent his way.

Niveau 2 : Blinds 200/400, 400 ante

Action folded around to the blinds, where Martin Ryan raised to 1,700 from the small blind and Nicola Danselmo three-bet to 4,500 from the big blind. Ryan called.

Both players checked on the Q10A flop and then Danselmo called an 8,000 bet from Ryan on the 10 turn.

The 9 completed the board and action checked through. Ryan tabled K3 for whiffed straight and flush draws while Danselmo turned over JJ, which was enough to collect the pot.
