Action was heads up between Traian Stanciu and Emil Bise to the turn of a board showing 4♦5♦2♦K♣.

Stanciu fired a bet of 125,000 and Bise called to see the 10♣ river. Bise took a few minutes before sliding in the call.

Stanciu turned over 2♠2♣ for a flopped set of deuces, claiming a notable pot as Bise mucked.

Roland Israelashvili raised and Emil Bise defended the big blind to a flop of 9♦7♦5♣ which he checked. The initial raiser asked for Bise's stack size and then splashed in his five T-100,000 chips, Bise folded.

One hand later, Bise limped the small blind and Theodoor Woolschot checked from the big blind. Bise checked the J♠5♠4♦ flop with around 400,000 behind and called a bet of 75,000 by Woolschot.

After the 9♦ turn, Bise checked again and Woolschot declared "I am all-in".

Bise briefly checked his stack and then pushed it forward.

The Swiss had bottom pair with a flush draw while Woolschot was ahead with the top pair. A blank Q♣ river followed and denied Bise the chance at winning a third WSOPE bracelet.

Michael Gehrmann had jammed once to preserve his short stack and then claimed the blinds and big blind ante with an open raise.

Soon after, Gehrmann raised to 85,000 in the hijack and Anthony Mahaut called on the button. The 10♦8♠2♣ flop brought with it a bet of Gehrmann for 110,000, which Mahaut called.

Gehrmann then jammed the 6♠ turn and Mahaut went into the tank, carefully studying his opponent. No words were spoken before Mahaut then called.

Gehrmann needed a spade to double but missed the 5♣ river, bowing out in 12th place for €2,800.

On the first hand after the break, the action folded to Prakash Schiefermueller in the small blind. He jammed all in for 320,000 chips and Roland Israelashvili made an instantaneous call from the big blind with the covering stack.

Anthony Mahaut and Andrei Spataru had gathered 350,000 chips in the middle during a blind-on-blind encounter. The board was dealt up until the turn and read J♥9♣A♣4♦ when Mahaut put Spataru all-in for his final 300,000 chips.

Spataru sighed but called it off relatively quickly, putting himself at risk of becoming the final table bubble.

Anthony Mahaut opened to 120,000 in the hijack and found calls from Sefora Pop in the cutoff and Maurice Nass on the button. Roland Israelashvili then defended his big blind to the K♥5♣4♥ flop.

All four players checked the action through to the 5♥ turn, where Pop was the first to bet. Only Israelashvili called the bet of 200,000 and the two players saw the Q♥ river.

Israelashvili checked to Pop, who announced all in. Israelashvili mucked his cards, as Pop's stack continued to grow.

Jedryczka pondered for a while before moving in for 1,680,000. Tran snap called with the bigger stack and the cards went on their backs.

Roland Israelashvili open-jammed his 640,000 chips in the middle from middle position. The action then folded to Theodoor Woolschot in the cutoff, and he put in 160,000 chips, not having seen Israelashvili's action.

A ruling was made that since Woolschot verbally declared his raise, he was forced to make a min-raise. He followed the ruling and the other players got out of the way to create a heads up showdown.

Neither player hit anything on the K♥8♣3♦Q♥7♠ board, meaning that Woolschot's ace-high eliminated Israelashvili in eight place.

Israelashvili made a deep run, but it turned out to be yet another final table without a win for the all-time leader in WSOP cashes.
