Mrakes Doubles Through Eljach

Ryan Lashmar

Niveau 24 : Blinds 10,000/15,000, 15,000 ante

Omar Eljach opened to 45,000 from the small blind and Michal Mrakes defended from the big blind.

The flop came A♣J♠8♥. Eljach bet 125,000 and Mrakes moved all in for 164,000. Eljach quickly called with a covering stack.

Michal Mrakes: K♠J♦8♠2♦
Omar Eljach: A♥K♦9♦4♣

The rest of the board ran out Q♠7♦. Eljach's pair of aces could not best Mrakes' two pair and the latter received a full double up.
