Rodrigues Gets Respect

Niveau 19 : Blinds 3,000/5,000, 5,000 ante

Dario Alioto opened to 10,000 from early position and was called by Michael Rodrigues in the hijack, Jelka Andelic in the small blind, and Stefano Moi in big blind.

Action checked to Rodrigues on the 410K flop and he bet 22,000. Only Moi called.

Moi checked to Rodrigues on the 3 turn and he placed another bet into the middle, which got an immediate fold from Moi — conceding the pot to Rodrigues.

Estanislau Bombs the River

Niveau 19 : Blinds 3,000/5,000, 5,000 ante

Marcus Schilling opened to 12,000 from the cutoff and Joao Estanislau defended from the big blind.

Both players checked the J104 flop leading to the J turn. Estanislau bet 11,000 and Schilling made the call.

On the 5 river Estanislau bet 64,000 and this time it was enough to force a fold from Schilling.

Mao Straightens Geisler Out

Niveau 18 : 2,000/4,000, 4,000 ante
Renji Mao
Renji Mao

Sebastian Geisler, Rostyslav Sabishchenko, and Renji Mao were in for 14,000 each heading to a flop, which came 5K4.

Sabishchenko checked from the small blind and Mao checked from the big blind. Geisler then shoved for his last 17,500, which got a quick fold from Sabishchenko, but a call from Mao after a bit of deliberation to put Geisler at risk.

Sebastian Geisler: KKJ3
Renji Mao: J1032

The A turn provided Mao with a wheel to vault him into the lead and left Geisler drawing to a full house.

It wasn't meant to be, however, as the 9 river bricked out for Geisler and he was eliminated — sending the sizable pot Mao's way.

Eicher Cracks Aces After Spiking River

Niveau 18 : 2,000/4,000, 4,000 ante

Marc Eicher opened to 7,500 from early position and received calls from Alexander Gerdshikow in middle position and Tomasz Kozub on the button before Angelo Riccio put in a pot-sized raise to 37,500 from the small blind. Eicher moved all in for 133,000, forcing a fold from Gerdshikow and Kozub while Riccio snap-called with a covering stack.

"Aces?" Eicher asked his opponent as cards were turned on their backs.

Marc Eicher: KKJ5
Angelo Riccio: AA102

Eicher was indeed up against Aces and in rough shape with unsuited kings. The 733 flop and 6 turn provided no help. The K river gave him a full house to double up while making a serious dent in Riccio's stack.
