Tsang Loses His Crown
Niveau 16
: Blinds 3,000/6,000, 6,000 ante
Anson Tsang and Tobias Peters were heads-up on a board of 7♣6♣J♠5♥ and around 30,000 in the pot as Tsang, in the small blind, tanked for a minute before betting 30,000.
Tsang left only one orange 1,000 chip behind and Peters instantly moved all in. Tsang tossed in his last chip and showed A♠Q♠J♥7♠ for two pair, but Peters had A♥K♥4♦3♦ for a straight.
The river came the 8♣ and Tsang, the two-time and defending champion of this event, was sent to the rail short of the money as Peters raked in more chips to add to his stack, which he has painstakingly organized in a symmetrical pattern.
