Besmir Hodaj

Welcome to the glorious King's Resort in Rozvadov for final day action of Event #7 €1,650 6-Max No-Limit Hold'em, where only 120 players remain and only one can become champion to win the top prize of €143,100, a seat at the World Series of Poker Europe Main Event and the prestigious World Series of Poker Europe Bracelet.

Before players can dream of a new piece of jewelry, the first order of business is to navigate the bubble. A total of 75 players will be paid, with a minimum cash that is good for €2,325. Two Italians will be leading the charge to the bubble, with Besmir Hodaj the runaway chip leader with 620,000. Jacopo Achille is second with 495,000 chips, while Israel's Maor Zaharagi sits in third place with 465,000.

On their tails is Hendon Mob founder and two-time WSOP Bracelet winner Barny Boatman on 455,000 chips. The Londoner had heaps of chips throughout Day 1 and is definitely a contender for a fifth WSOP final table in the space of two years.

Refael Dahan

All the chips went into the middle preflop with the under-the-gun Refael Dahan at risk for 105,500. He was up against Ramo Balic on the button who barely covered Dahan.

Refael Dahan: AA
Ramo Balic: KK

Balic was behind and let out a loud groan when he saw a bullet in the window on the AJ5 flop. Balic did gain flush outs on the 6 turn causing Dahan to pray for a red card. His wish wasn't granted, but thankfully for Dahan it was the 6 to secure the double up and left Balic with four big blinds.

Ramlal Basdeo
Ramlal Basdeo

Ramlal Basdeo moved all in from the button for 6,500 and was called by Yehuda Cohen in the small blind and Ruslan Volkov in the big blind.

The flop of 442 saw Cohen flick in a 5,000 chip and was quickly called by Volkov. The 2 double-paired the board and Cohen bet 5,000 again. Volkov opted to make a raise to 15,000 which got a snap fold from Cohen.

Ramlal Basdeo: A7
Ruslan Volkov: 42

A big blind special for Volkov who flopped a boat. Basdeo was drawing dead and the 7 completed the board as the Trinidadian headed to the exit.

Niveau 17 : Blinds 2,500/5,000, 5,000 ante
Miroslav Forman
Miroslav Forman

Just before the blinds had gone up, two players were eliminated in consecutive hands and Miroslav Forman was responsible for both casualties.

Renji Mao had min-raised from under the gun and Bruno Desimoni Cunha Mota pushed in the small blind. Forman jammed in the big blind and Mao folded the 88.

Bruno Desimoni Cunha Mota: A4
Miroslav Forman: AQ

The KJ22Q board kept Forman ahead all the way.

Florian Kraft then opened to 9,000 and Michael Horn jammed for the 40,500 he had behind. Forman piled it in fromn the big blind and Kraft folded.

Michael Horn: JJ
Miroslav Forman: AK

The A66 flop left Horn on the ropes and he sighed "every single time, you gotta be kidding me" in his native German. No help came with the Q turn and 9 river to also oust Horn.

Classic Boatman Speech Play Secures Gigantic Chip Lead Pot

Niveau 17 : Blinds 2,500/5,000, 5,000 ante
Barny Boatman
Barny Boatman

There were 60,000 in the middle and four players saw a flop of 772. Barny Boatman bet 15,000 from the hijack and was called by Sascha Minerva on the cutoff.

Fabian Rolli check-raised to 60,000 from the big blind and was cold-called by under the gun Maor Zaharagi. Boatman was undeterred by all the action that followed his initial bet by raising to 190,000 which gained a fold from Minerva and Rolli.

Zaharagi went into the tank and stared down Boatman. The Londoner looked at the board, then turned to his opponent and said "What's your kicker?" which prompted Zaharagi to rip it all in for 400,000. Boatman snap-called.

Maor Zaharagi: 76
Barny Boatman: 22

Boatman's speech play worked like a treat as it triggered Zaharagi to shove with trip sevens against his flopped boat. The JA completed the board and Boatman is the first player to pass the seven-figure mark and took the chip lead. The Israeli Zaharagi exits before the money despite coming into Day 2 as third in chips.

Lukas Pazma
Lukas Pazma

Lukas Pazma bet 50,000 from the button only leaving 10,000 behind. Adem Marjanovic made the call from the small blind.

The flop came 873, and Marjanovic bet 10,000 to put Pazma at risk. Pazma waited until the clock was called on him and put his chips into the middle.

Before the floor asked the players to turn their cards over, Pazma kissed his hand for luck. Marjanovic said "I will make a counter-kiss!" and kissed his own hand.

Lukas Pazma: AJ
Adem Marjanovic: 1010

Pazma was behind but had two over cards. He gained additional flush and gutshot outs on the 9 turn, but the 9 ended his tournament and it sent to the rail two places before the money.

It was a terrible flop for Munteanu as Dato hit a six on the completed board of Q6288 for two pair. Munteanu headed to the exit as the bubble boy.
