Loikkannen then turned over A♠8♥, having missed the call by Urbanovich. He was forced to play with his cards exposed on the Q♦3♦10♦ flop, where he quickly folded to a minimum bet.

Three-handed on a flop of 5♦9♦4♠, Symeon Alexandridis bet from the small blind and Steven Houghland called in the big blind, as did Wing Po Liu in the cutoff.

All three players checked the 7♣ turn. Alexandridis then bet again on the J♥ river and both opponents called.

Houghland turned over J♦6♥3♠2♦ for a straight and low, while Alexandridis had 9♥4♦3♣2♠ for the same low as Houghland took three-quarters of the pot.

The action was picked up after the second draw. Sebastian Cantzler checked from the big blind to Jorge Ufano on the button, who made a bet. Cantzler then raised, sending Ufano into the tank.

Eventually, he tossed in a call and drew one card on the final draw. Cantzler had stood pat and bet after the draw. Ufano mulled it over some more before raising.

This time, Cantzler utilized some thinking time. Eventually, he tossed his cards into the muck as Ufano picked up the pot without having to show down.

Philipp Krieger, who had only just joined the field, opened to 3,000 in the cutoff as Heiko Hinkelmann on the button and big blind Ingo Klasen called.

The flop came A♦9♦10♣ and Krieger bet 6,000. Only Hinkelmann called to see the 7♠ turn. Krieger then bet 13,000 and Hinkelmann again called.

The river was the 4♣ and Krieger moved all in for 26,500. Hinkelmann folded this time and Krieger took the pot.

Julien Martini, who won this event in 2021, and David Dongwoo Ko have recently joined the field.
