Blom Draws an Ace Against Cantzler

Viktor Blom bet from the cutoff after the first draw and Sebastian Cantzler raised on the button. Jorge Ufano called in the big blind, as did Blom.

Ufano drew two, Blom took one, while Cantzler stood pat. Cantzler then bet and only Blom called.

Cantzler again patted the final draw and Blom drew one. Both players checked and Blom tossed an ace into the muck as Cantzler showed 9x6x5x4x2x to win the pot.

Pierre Erbland raised from the cutoff, and Daniel Becker and Michael Rodrigues called on the button and in the small blind respectively.

Rodrigues drew three cards, Erbland drew two cards, and Becker drew two as well. Rodrigues then checked, Erbland bet, and Becker called. Rodrigues called as well before drawing one card on the second draw.

Erbland and Becker followed suit. Erbland tossed in another bet after the draw, again being called by both opponents. On the final draw, Rodrigues and Becker still took one card while Erbland stood pat.

Rodrigues checked to Erbland after the draw, who bet again. Becker called and Rodrigues got out of the way.

Erbland tabled 8x5x4x3x2x for the best possible eight and raked in the pot as Becker's cards hit the muck.

€5,000 Pot-Limit Omaha bracelet winner Dennis Weiss recently took his seat at this table along Javier Francort, who won a €1,000 Omaha side event here a few days ago.

"Winner, winner," Sami Bechahed said. "I haven't won anything. I haven't even won a pot here," he added to a round of laughs from the table.

Bechahed then tangled with Symeon Alexandridis as Alexandridis completed on third street, then bet on fourth. Bechahed called both bets and they checked down fifth.

Bechahed bet on sixth and Alexandridis called before seventh was checked down. Bechahed turned over 10♣8♥5♠ for a pair of eights and a low as he scooped the pot. "Finally," he said.

Stann continued betting on sixth and seventh as Alioto stuck around and called. Stann turned over 6♦2♣ for a straight and Blom tossed 7♥6♣4♥ into the muck, while Alioto also mucked as Stann scooped the pot to send Blom to the rail.

Mikkel Plum brought in, Viktor Blom completed, and Jyri Merivirta called. Plum two-bet before Blom wanted to call but accidentally put in a third bet.

Merivirta called, after which Plum four-bet. Both Blom and Merivirta called to fourth street, where Plum checked. Blom bet and was called by Merivirta, and Plum raised. Blom and Merivirta tossed in calling chips.

On fifth street, Plum put in another bet and received two calls. The action checked to Plum on sixth, after which the same betting action took place.

Seventh street saw Plum being called by both once more. He showed A♥A♣6♣ for a pair of aces and an eight-low.

Blom tabled 5♥5♦4♥ for two pair, but it was no good against the 10♦8♦Xx of Merivirta, who played a higher two two pair and chopped up Blom with Mikkel.

Francort Puts a Big Cooler on Monteforte

Javier Francort raised under the gun and was called by Claudio Monteforte on the button and Sami Bechahed in the big blind.

Francort put in 500 on the 8♥6♣7♦ flop and both opponents called. It was only after all the chips had been gathered that they realized the bet should've been 1,000. "Let's all just put in an extra 500," Bechahed said as they saw the K♠ fall on the turn.

Francort then bet again and only Monteforte called. Francort bet on the 8♦ river, Monteforte raised, and Francort reraised. Monteforte called with 7♣7♠ for a full house, but Francort had K♦K♥ for kings full to win the massive pot.

Bruno Stefanelli raised in the hijack, Daniel Habl three-bet in the cutoff and Vladimir Troyanovskiy placed a fourth bet in the small blind.

Both Stefanelli and Habl called to the 3♦4♥A♦ flop, where Troyanovskiy put in another bet. Stefanelli called, but Habl raised. Troyanovskiy then three-bet, folding out Stefanelli.

Habl called but quickly folded once Troyanovskiy tossed in a big bet on the K♠ turn, awarding him the pot.

Heads-up on a flop of K♣10♥5♦, Dario Alioto bet from the big blind and Viktor Blom called on the button.

The turn was the A♠ and Alioto bet again. Blom called to the K♦ river as Alioto fired out another bet. Blom then raised, Alioto reraised, and Blom finally gave up his hand.
