Huge Cooler Rockets Eveslage, Dents Imsirovic, and Busts Shak

Niveau 9 : 1,000/1,500, 1,500 ante
Chad Eveslage
Chad Eveslage

Chad Eveslage opened to 3,500 in early position, Ali Imsirovic called in middle position, the button called, and Dan Shak jammed the small blind for approximately 60,000. Eveslage rejammed for 119,000, and Imsirovic called.

Dan Shak: {q-Hearts}{q-Diamonds}
Chad Eveslage: {a-Hearts}{a-Spades}
Ali Imsirovic: {k-Spades}{k-Clubs}

It was aces versus kings versus queens, and Eveslage looked to be on the right side of the massive cooler.

The board ran out {9-Spades}{8-Clubs}{7-Diamonds}{10-Spades}{9-Hearts} to change nothing, and Eveslage took the pot with his rockets. Meanwhile, Imsirovic took a hit but still holds one of the top stacks, and Shak was eliminated.

Ali Imsirovic
Ali Imsirovic

Chad Eveslage opened the button to 3,000, Ren Lin three-bet to 15,000 in the small blind, Ali Imsirovic called the big blind, and Eveslage folded.

The dealer spread the {j-Spades}{10-Clubs}{2-Diamonds} flop and Lin check-called an 8,500 bet.

The {9-Clubs} landed on the turn and Lin checked-jammed after Imsirovic bet 45,000, putting his stack of approximately 165,000 in the middle. Imsirovic called.

Ren Lin: {a-Diamonds}{k-Hearts}
Ali Imsirovic: {10-Spades}{10-Hearts}

Lin was calling for a queen, but the {3-Hearts} completed the board to keep Imsirovic ahead with his set, and he added the chips to his large stack.

Alex Foxen

Alex Foxen was out of position in a heads-up pot on a board of {4-Diamonds}{10-Hearts}{q-Spades}{2-Clubs}. Foxen checked and called a turn bet of 4,300 from his opponent.

Foxen checked again on the {j-Clubs} river and his opponent bet 12,500. Foxen moved all-in to put his opponent in for his last 55,400. The opponent tanked for about a minute and called.

Foxen showed {k-Diamonds}{j-Spades} for a pair of jacks and the opponent showed {q-Hearts}{10-Clubs} to win the pot with two pair.

Foxen lost most of his stack in the hand and was left with around 15,000. He busted out of the tournament shortly after.

Sofia Lovgren
Sofia Lovgren

Sofia Lovgren was seen with a big smile on her face and raking in a massive pot that she won after going all-in against two opponents for around 33,000.

Lovgren held {j-Hearts}{j-Clubs} and was against Erik Wigg's {a-Spades}{a-Clubs} and the {8-Spades}{8-Diamonds} of Peter Cross. The flop of {j-Diamonds}{a-Hearts}{7-Diamonds} gave Lovgren a set and Wigg a bigger set, but the miracle {j-Spades} on the turn improved Lovgren to quads.

The river brought the {3-Spades} and Lovgren scooped the massive pot, while a side pot went to Wigg and Cross was eliminated.

There's a tournament for just about any type of poker player — high stakes, mid-stakes, no-limit hold'em, pot-limit Omaha, bounty events, etc. And there are two seniors events for players aged 50 and above — $400 and $1,100.

The series kicked off back on February 21 with the $400 No-Limit Hold’em $40K GTD, a tournament that attracted 313 entries and awarded a $107,985 prize pool to the top 35 finishers.

Among those to cash were Jesse Sylvia (34th - $809), Vivian Kreider (23rd - $1,033), Jack Hardcastle (16th - $1,334), Thi Nguyen (8th - $2,834), and David Poces (4th - $7,483).

The final three players worked a deal that saw Jeff Sluzinski, also known as the popular poker vlogger Jeff Boski, get the most money with $20,000, but it was New Zealand’s Gabriel Jin Goh who claimed the trophy and $17,000 in prize money.

In a heads-up pot on a board reading {5-Hearts}{2-Clubs}{2-Hearts}, Kitty Kuo led out with a bet of 700 and Andy Park called.

The turn brought the {4-Hearts} and Kuo bet a hefty 3,000, which Park called. Kuo then checked on the {8-Spades} river and called Park's bet of 5,000.
