Haddad Eliminated

Niveau 6 : 250/500, 75 ante
Majed Haddad
Majed Haddad

The seat that formerly belonged to Majed Haddad was now empty while an excited Aleks Misovic was chatting with Matthew Wantman and Aram Zobian.

"You should write that one up," they said and Misovic then added "the hand wasn't that interesting, just the table talk."

Apparently, Haddad in late position and Misovic in the small blind headed to a {9-}{7-}{7-} flop on which Haddad jammed for 48,000. He told Misovic to "just fold if he has a seven and go into the break." Instead, Misovic snap-called with pocket nines for the flopped full house and Haddad was caught with the hands in the cookie car, flipping over a mere {A-}{J-} airball.

Konstas bet 5,600 and again Marquez called.

The river was the {3-Spades}. Konstas opted against firing a third street and checked, with Marquez checking behind.

Konstas showed {k-Hearts}{q-Hearts} for king-high and a missed flush draw, as Marquez showed {a-Spades}{k-Diamonds} for the win.

Action Just Before the Break

Niveau 5 : 200/400, 50 ante

Natalie Teh jammed for 8,025 and a short stack with two big blinds fewer called all in from one seat over.

It was a flip with the {6-Diamonds}{6-Spades} for Teh and the {A-Clubs}{10-Diamonds} for her opponent. The board came {Q-Hearts}{J-Hearts}{7-Hearts}{5-Hearts}{8-Diamonds} and Teh's hand remained best.

Elliot Smith bowed out at almost the same time with trips versus David Wu, who had a straight.

Last but not least, David Yan raised to 900 first to act and Thomas Muehloecker three-bet the button to 2,800, Yan called. On the {Q-Hearts}{3-Diamonds}{3-Clubs} flop, Yan check-called a bet of 2,200 and the {J-Hearts} turn was c hecked. On the {A-Hearts} river, Yan bet 6,500 and Muehloecker folded.

Rory Young

On a {4-Clubs}{8-Hearts}{2-Clubs}{4-Hearts} board Rory Young bet 1,800 and a single opponent called. The river was the {q-Spades} and Young opted for a smaller sizing of 650.

His opponent leaned forward to clarify the bet with the dealer before calling.

Young turned over {6-Hearts}{6-Clubs} and that was good enough to win the pot.

Although down from his peak, Young now sits firmly above average which stands at 35,000.
