Niall Murray open-shoved 50,000 from early position and Andrey Sharonov reshoved all in from middle position.
Niall Murray:
Andrey Sharonov:
The board didn't provide enough help for Murray, and he was eliminated. Even with Murray's chips, Day 1 chipleader Andrey Sharonov still has a steep hill to climb to get back to the top.
Short stack Ove Andre Stenberg three-bet all in from the small blind with the and initial raiser Tomas Macnamara called with the in the cutoff. The flop left Stenberg drawing dead, making the turn and river a formality.
On the heads-up flop of , Tuukka Meklin and Michael Kane remained and the former got his stack of 65,500 in with the . Kane looked him up with and the Finn was ready to leave. However, both the turn and river completed a four card flush and Meklin doubled.

The flop came and the on the turn opened the door to some chop opportunities, but the was not one of them as Gimbel doubled up.
Danny Tang has been steadily chipping up since the bubble burst yesterday on Day 2, but he now seems to be moving into the top ten chip-stacks, so we caught up with him to find out how it happened.
"It was a really big pot, actually," Tang told us, "I raised to 9,000 from under the gun. Only the big blind called me and the flop came . I c-bet 8,000 and he check-raised me to 27,000. I called. The turn comes an off-suit four, no flush draw. He bets 55,000 and I call. On the river, he goes all-in for 160,000 and I have to tank - it's a huge amount. If I call and I'm wrong, I'm down to twenty big blinds and it's a different tournament all of a sudden. I spotted a live tell and made the call and he had ; he'd had an open-straight draw from the flop and turned a pair. I had and 610,000 now."
Danny sits back down quick enough to see the next cards. He's a big chip leader at the table now and looks keen to exert as much pressure as possible on his opponents.
Stephen Malone opened to 14,000 from the small blind. Craig Mehlbaum shoved around 80,000 from the big blind, and Malone called directly.
Craig Mehlbaum:
Stephen Malone:
Despite the good situation to start with, it didn't end up well for Mehlbaum after the board ran out . Malone paired his inferior kicker to send Mehlbaum to the rail.
