Buldygin Rakes One In

Niveau 4 : 150/300, 50 ante

Charlie Carrel and Viatcheslav Buldygin were mostly focused on listening to music and watching the coverage of the €25,750 Super High Roller final table, but Buldygin put some attention into a raise from under the gun. Marko Neumann called in the big blind and checked the flop of {6-Clubs}{6-Hearts}{4-Spades}. Buldygin continued for 700 and was called before the {K-Spades} fell on the turn.

Neumann checked, Buldygin bet 1,100 and that was it for the hand, as Neumann folded.

Gruissem Comes and Goes

Niveau 4 : 150/300, 50 ante

Philipp Gruissem just entered this tournament but already busted after ten minutes. From first position, Florin Minea raised to 625. It was folded to Romal Jaweed in the small blind and he made the call. Gruissem came along from the big blind.

The flop came down {8-Spades}{9-Spades}{9-Clubs} and it was checked to Minea. He continued for 1,325 only to see Jaweed raise to 3,000. Gruissem counted his stack, looked at the other stack sizes and decided it was time to move all in for 14,825.

Minea folded quickly but Jaweed made the call.

Romal Jaweed: {A-Diamonds}{9-Diamonds}
Philipp Gruissem: {10-Clubs}{9-Hearts}

Both had flopped trips but Gruissem was outkicked by Jaweeds ace. The {Q-Clubs} turn and the {K-Clubs} river didn't save Gruissem and he headed towards the door.

Minea stood up and showed a lot of frustration, it looked he wanted to make clear that he would have won the hand if he hadn't folded on the flop.

Kowal Shows One

Niveau 4 : 150/300, 50 ante

On the heads-up turn of {10-Spades}{9-Hearts}{9-Clubs}{3-Diamonds}, Graydon Kowal checked in the small blind and Knut Karnapp bet 1,100. Kowal then check-raised to 3,400 and received a call.

On the {Q-Hearts} river, Kowal bet 6,000 and Karnapp folded. The Canadian had been silent until then and asked "which one do you want to see?" Karnapp pointed towards the left hole card and Kowal flipped over the {J-Hearts}. Kowal is among the current chip leaders with more than twice the starting stack.

A day to Forget for van Hoof

Niveau 4 : 150/300, 50 ante
Jorryt van Hoof
Jorryt van Hoof

It had been a day to forget for Jorryt van Hoof and his stack consistently dwindled until there were just 3,500 left. In the small blind, he got it in with the {10-Clubs}{7-Clubs} and Tobias Ziegler in the big blind called with the {K-Clubs}{J-Clubs}. The board came {A-Diamonds}{6-Hearts}{3-Hearts}{2-Clubs}{4-Spades} and that was it for the former November Niner.

Finger Arrives, Gets Short, Busts, Cracks Up

Niveau 4 : 150/300, 50 ante
Martin Finger
Martin Finger

Martin Finger was already kind of needled by fellow Germans [Removed:172] and Ismael Bojang on the rail, because he sat down, played a few hands and lost most of his stack.

Then, Finger was all in preflop for his last 5,400 and Luca Granieri looked him up.

Finger: {9-Spades}{9-Diamonds}
Granieri: {A-Diamonds}{10-Clubs}

The flop of {A-Hearts}{10-Diamonds}{10-Spades} let the entire table including Finger and his friends on the rail crack up, while the {K-Clubs} turn and {5-Hearts} river were already meaningless.

Marsh Shoves on Suriano

Niveau 4 : 150/300, 50 ante

After the river, the board was {10-Hearts}{6-Spades}{9-Clubs}{6-Clubs}{7-Diamonds} and Luke Marsh was heads up against Davide Suriano.

With 32,000 already in the middle, Marsh decided to move all in from the small blind for 23,000. This move gave Suriano a hard time.

He tanked for over seven minutes before he called the clock on himself. Meanwhile he tried everything to get some information from Marsh.

He whistled at him and then started talking. "Do you show if I fold?", he asked. But Marsh wasn't planning on responding. "What do you have, show me one card", he tried again.

It didn't help at all and eventually he folded his cards. During his deliberation, he took his cards from the table, just high enough for Mete Ustuay, to his right, to his hand. Because of this he had to show his hand to the whole table and the dealer flipped over his {A-Diamonds}{A-Clubs}.

Set Over Set in Favor of Karnapp

Niveau 4 : 150/300, 50 ante

Jeff Sarwer raised to 700 and five players called. On the {7-Spades}{6-Clubs}{2-Spades} flop, the small blind checked and the big blind bet 1,200. Sarwer raised to 3,200 and Chi Zang made it 8,100. The action folded back to Karnapp and he moved all in for 18,300. The blinds and Sarwer folded, but Zhang called with the {6-Diamonds}{6-Spades}.

Karnapp had that beat with {7-Spades}{7-Clubs} and the {10-Diamonds} on the turn and the {Q-Clubs} on the river changed nothing.

Luebbe Not Amused as Sergeev Doubles Again

Niveau 4 : 150/300, 50 ante

A raising war broke out between Jens Luebbe in late position and Sergey Sergeev in the cutoff with the former ending up all in the latter calling for his last 27,050.

Luebbe: {K-Diamonds}{K-Hearts}
Sergeev: {Q-Spades}{Q-Diamonds}

As soon as the Russian saw the cards of his opponent, he stood up from the table and was ready to leave. The board came {A-Hearts}{10-Spades}{2-Clubs}{Q-Hearts}{3-Spades} and Sergeev spiked a set on the turn. Luebbe let out a "Vaffanculo" and the Russian showed his joy, both traded some more words and Luebbe ended it with a "that's not funny."

Niveau 4 : 150/300, 50 ante

The flop was {3-Diamonds}{8-Hearts}{J-Spades} and Van der Fluit bet 2,600 from the big blind. Cimilji, on the cutoff, called but folded when Van der Fluit fired 5,300 on the {K-Hearts} turn.
