Après une grosse performance en finale, Henrik Hecklen a mis encore trois heures à disposer de l'Allemand Ole Schemion en head's-up. Le Danois remporte finalement le PokerStars European Poker Tour Prague High Roller à 10.300€ l'entrée pour un demi million d'euros.
Hecklen enchaîne puisqu'il avait terminé 23e du Main Event. Cette fois, il a battu un field de 259 entrants pour s'offrir le plus gros gain live de sa carrière. Et avec la manière puisque la composition de la Table FInale était exceptionnelle.
Le Danois a battu Ole Schemion (334,900€) et Alexandre Reard (244 950€). Il a aussi éliminé Michael Addam, Thomas Paiva et Daniel Dvoress. C'est le Français du Team Unibet qui a scalpé le tenant du titre Danny Tang, vainqueur de l'édition 2017 qui avait rassemblé 3 entrants de moins et pris lui aussi un demi millions d'euros, mais Hecklen a véritablement joué les exécuteurs en chef.

"Il n'y a pas de cause à effet entre le Main et cette victoire mais bon j'étais déçu après le tournoi principal, c'est plutôt sympa d'avoir le droit à un lot de consolation", a souri Hecklen après son succès.
"Ce dernier duel était dur car il n'y a pas eu beaucoup de showdowns et c'était compliqué de savoir ce qu'il faisait. Mais je pense avoir bien joué, tout comme lui. C'était vraiment serré", a commenté le vainqueur d'un tournoi qui aura réussi aux noms du poker.
La partie avait reprise avec 16 joueurs en ce Jour 3. Vainqueur du HR 10.300€ de fin de festival de l'EPT Barcelona, Max Silver a finalement raté l'ultime table (10e) alors que le vainqueur de l'EPT Prague 2016 Jasper Meijer van Putten s'est lui incliné en 7e position. Autre gros nom présent en ce Final Day, le détenteur de la Triple Couronne Niall Farrell (11e).
Serdar Dermican et l'Anglais Charlie Carrel ont eux sauté dès l'entame du Day 3. A ce moment du tournoi, c'était Jasper Meijer van Putten et Daniel Dvoress qui dominaient les débats.
En doublant sur Van Putten, Alexandre Reard s'est replacé dans le haut du classement pour aborder sereinement l'ultime table. Le show Henrik Hecklen pouvait commencer.
Après une quinte rivière touchée par Hecklen, Reard va se refaire en doublant contre Anton Yakuba. Dvoress va se charger de terminer le Portugais mais Hecklen va être e véritable bourreau de la finale.
Après avoir doublé contre Dvoress, l'Australien Michael Addamo va perdre le flip contre Hecklen. Puis Van Putten va tenter de jouer de son image plutôt serrée pour faire tapis avec 
. Hecklen paye et le sort avec 
pour terminer son quart d'heure de folie en éliminant aussi Paiva. Et capter 5 millions des 12,7 millions de jetons en circulation
A l'agonie, Danny Tang va doubler deux fois (sur Reard et Dvoress) avant qu'Hecklen n'ajoute une quatrième victime consécutive. Dvoress s'incline finalement en 5e position pour 155 000€.
Alexandre Reard va alors partir à tapis à la chaîne, doublant trois fois pour passer de 5 à 40 blindes en quelques minutes. Le Français va se charger du tenant du titre Tang dans la foulée... avant de perdre une main incroyable contre le futur vainqueur.
Le Français trouve un brelan floppé et passe en mode check-call mais l'agression d'Hecklen est récompensée. Son tirage quinte par les deux bouts rentre dès le tournant et il avale le stack de Reard à la rivière.
Ole Schemion a débuté le dernier duel avec une trentaine de blinde et 2,6 millions seulement mais il s'est vite refait. L'Allemand va doubler deux fois et prendre la tête sans toutefois parvenir à s'échapper. A l'issue d'un gros duel, Hecklen va reprendre l'ascendant peu à peu.
Sur la dernière main, Ole Schemion va limp du bouton et envoyer 29 blindes avec 
sur la relance d'Hecklen. Le Danois va snap avec

But the board ran clean for Hecklen, ending the hand with two pair and was crowned the €10,300 EPT Prague High Roller champion for €503,700.
