Gianluca Speranza

Danny Tang

Last Three Hands

Niveau 10 : 800/1,600, 1,600 ante

There will be three more hands on Day 1 of the €10,300 High Roller before the remaining players bag up for the night.

A recap of the day's action will follow shortly.

Dimitar Danchev Takes From O'Dwyer and Tang

Niveau 10 : 800/1,600, 1,600 ante

A big pot was relayed to us from Steve O'Dwyers table. After O'Dwyer opened to 3,600, and defending champion Danny Tang called in the cutoff, Dimitar Danchev called in the big blind.

The flop came {8-}{2-}{3-} with two clubs. O'Dwyer continued for 8,500 and Tang called. Danchev then check-raised to 27,000. O'Dwyer then moved all in for 100,000. Tang and Danchev both called.

Danny Tang: {a-}{a-}
Big Blind: {4-Clubs}{5-Clubs}
Steve O'Dwyer: {k-Diamonds}{8-Diamonds}

The turn was a brick but the {6-Clubs} on the river completed a flush for Danchev.

Shomron Shoves into Farrell With Grave Consequences

Niveau 10 : 800/1,600, 1,600 ante

Amir Shomron bet a {9-Hearts}{3-Hearts}{j-Clubs} flop and opponent Niall Farrell called. The turn was the {8-Diamonds} and Shomron checked.

Farrell bet 15,000 and Shomron used a time extension before check-raising all in for 40,000. Farrell snap-called.

Niall Farrell: {j-Hearts}{j-Diamonds}
Amir Shomron: {a-Hearts}{k-Diamonds}

Shomron was drawing dead and the {3-Spades} completed the board and he was eliminated, boosting Farrell up over average stack.

Boivin and O'Dwyer Battle Again

Niveau 10 : 800/1,600, 1,600 ante
Thomas Boivin
Thomas Boivin

The flop was down {4-Clubs}{6-Clubs}{3-Hearts}, and Thomas Boivin checked to Steve O'Dwyer from middle position.

O'Dwyer bet 7,000 into the 13,000 pot from the button and Boivin called.

Both players checked on the {8-Diamonds} turn, and Boivin bet 7,500 after the {5-Diamonds} river card had fallen.

O'Dwyer, who came second to Boivin in the €25,000 Single-Day event earlier this week, thought for 20 seconds before he passed his hand to the dealer and Boivin picked up the pot.

Wilf Finishes Off Greenwood Who Then Re-Enters

Niveau 10 : 800/1,600, 1,600 ante
Sam Greenwood
Sam Greenwood

Saar Wilf open-shoved from the button for around 25,000. Sam Greenwood was in the small blind with less than five big blinds and used a time extension before calling. The big blind folded.

Saar Wilf: {a-Diamonds}{5-Spades}
Sam Greenwood: {k-Spades}{2-Clubs}

The {a-Hearts}{9-Spades}{5-Clubs} was not what Greenwood was hoping for on the flop. The turn was the {10-Clubs} and the river the {2-Hearts} and he was eliminated. He immediately re-entered with a fresh stack of 50,000.

Schemion Gets a Call From Greenwood

Niveau 10 : 800/1,600, 1,600 ante

On a {7-Spades}{5-Hearts}{5-Spades}{2-Clubs}{7-Clubs} river Ole Schemion bet 31,500 into a pot of only 25,000.

Opponent Luc Greenwood used two time extensions before calling. Schemion showed the {2-Hearts} and then the {7-Hearts} for a rivered full house, and Greenwood mucked.

"Not nice," said tablemate Krasimir Yankov.

"Mmm," replied Greenwood.
