Riess Jams Twice

Niveau 32 : 100,000/200,000, 200,000 ante

Viktor Katzenberger raised to 425,000 with the {k-Clubs}{10-Hearts} and Ryan Riess jammed for 2,125,000 with {10-Diamonds}{10-Clubs} to scoop a nice pot without showdown.

Manig Loeser opened to 400,000 first to act with the {j-Hearts}{j-Clubs} and Wei Huang on the button had the {2-Spades}{2-Diamonds}, which he sent to the muck. Katzenberger defended the {10-Clubs}{9-Hearts} and the {a-Hearts}{q-Hearts}{q-Diamonds} flop brought no betting action.

On the {3-Hearts} turn both players checked once again and the {9-Diamonds} fell on the river. Katzenberger checked the third street in a row and Loeser studied his opponent carefully before checking behind and claiming the pot.

Ryan Riess open-shoved for 3,060,000 first to act with the {a-Clubs}{j-Clubs} and that won the blinds and big blind ante.
