Jeudi, le Jour 3 de l'édition 2019 du Main Event PokerStars and Monte-Carlo®Casino European Poker Tour s'est étalé sur six niveaux de jeu qui ont permis de faire tomber le field de 107 joueurs à 30 rescapés tous assurés d'un gain de près de 20.000€.
Encore vainqueur il y a quelques jours, le Canadien Timothy Adams s'est porté en tête après une journée superbe où il a notamment fait très mal au jeune français Johann Zeitoun (21 ans). Adams poursuit sa route vers le premier prix de 827,700€ avec 2,2 millions de jetons.
Trois anciens vainqueurs d'un Main Event EPT sont toujours dans la course dont le Français Rémi Castaignon (en Une). Accompagné par Paul Michaelis et Nicolas Chouity au Jour 4, le tricolore peut devenir le deuxième joueur de l'histoire du festival à signer un doublé et rejoindre Victoria Coren dans la légende du poker. Le joueur du Sud-Ouest est accompagné par le double vainqueur de la Top Shark, le Team Pro Winamax Aladin Reskallah. Ce dernier sera 5e à la reprise avec 1,6 million et 80 blindes, Castaignon sera hors de position sur son compatriote avec 680 000 jetons soit 35 blindes !
Le but vendredi sera de se glisser en finale et la tache s'annonce rude puisque de nombreux joueurs ont un sacré pedigree. Hors du Top 10, déjà très fourni, on retrouve aussi Conor Beresford, Govert Metaal, Wiktor Malinowski, Chris Vogelsang ou encore Sam Greenwood. Avec 12 blindes à la reprise, c'est le champion du monde WSOP Ryan Riess qui ferme la marche !

Day 3 of the 2019 EPT Monte Carlo Main Event has wrapped up with 30 players making it through to the penultimate day. All chip counts and an end-of-day recap follow shortly.
Vlado Banicevic raised to 35,000 from middle position and Nicola Grieco called from the next seat. Dario Sammartino then moved all in for his last 508,000 and it folded to Aladin Reskallah in the big blind. Reskallah wanted confirmation of Sammartino's stack and then he moved all in himself for over 950,000.
The other players folded and Reskallah immediately opened up . He was flipping against the

flop was rather favorable for Reskallah.

In two steps, Japanese hopeful Masato Yokosawa's first EPT Main Event deep run came to an end. First, it was Govert Metaal that put him under pressure. Metaal had opened with and barreled a queen-high board down to the river. Yokosawa called two streets but folded the river to be left with 200,000.
