Wang and Wolff On Board; Tosoc Thriving

Niveau 5 : 200/400, 400 ante

Michael Wang and George Wolff entered the field and the latter sat down on the same table as fellow American Ryan Tosoc.

"He is a boss," Wolff added with a grin when pointing to Tosoc, who had just raked in a pot without showdown by betting the {9-Clubs}{4-Clubs}{3-Clubs} flop for 2,000. His opponent folded and Tosoc, who plays overseas for the first time, added to his growing stack.

Colomba Flips Well Against Torres

Niveau 5 : 200/400, 400 ante

It was a coin flip that decided over the tournament life of Danilo Colomba, who faced Laurent Torres in the showdown.

Danilo Colomba: {a-Spades}{q-Diamonds}
Laurent Torres: {10-Diamonds}{10-Clubs}

Colomba picked up a ton of outs on the {7-Spades}{6-Spades}{2-Spades} flop, but found no help on the {k-Hearts} turn just yet. The {q-Hearts} river improved the Italian to a pair of queens and he locked up the double with a kiss for the cards and the words "just a flip."

Burresi Busts, Bise Doesn't

Niveau 4 : 100/300, 300 ante

Gianpaolo Burresi was all in for the last 1,800 and Marco Monello reluctantly called out of the big blind with the {5-Spades}{2-Diamonds}. Burresi was ahead with the {9-Diamonds}{8-Hearts} and flopped top pair on {9-Spades}{7-Clubs}{2-Clubs}, but Monello turned trips with the {2-Hearts}. The river was the {k-Spades} and that was it for Burresi.

Emil Bise also ended up all in. On a flop of {k-Clubs}{q-Spades}{8-Hearts}, Bise faced a bet of 5,000 and jammed for the last 10,300 to get called by the opponent with {q-Hearts}{j-Spades}. Bise had the best of it with the {k-Diamonds}{q-Clubs} and the {a-Hearts} turn and {k-Hearts} river run out brought no surprise.

More for Kalac and Kebe

Niveau 4 : 100/300, 300 ante

Antonin Teisseire was eliminated and left the tournament area while Ivan Kalac scooped up his chips. Another big stack that added even more chips to his growing tower is Jimmy Kebe. The latter check-raised the river of a completed board of {k-Clubs}{j-Diamonds}{3-Clubs}{j-Spades}{10-Diamonds} from 3,000 to 12,500 and that did the trick to force a fold from his opponent.

Martinez Doubles Through Andreev

Niveau 4 : 100/300, 300 ante

With 23,600 in the middle and the flop showing {a-Diamonds}{q-Spades}{q-Hearts}, Andrey Andreev bet 20,000 and his sole remaining opponent Thierry Martinez called all in for 17,100.

Thierry Martinez: {a-Hearts}{j-Diamonds}
Andrey Andreev: {j-Hearts}{j-Spades}

The {9-Hearts} turn and {7-Diamonds} river run out failed to improve Andreev and he dropped below the starting stack, while Martinez scored a double not long after taking a seat.

Chip Counts and Bustouts

Niveau 4 : 100/300, 300 ante

Former French professional football player Jimmy Kebe has already more than doubled his stack and has joined the current big stacks in the fourth level of the day. Timur Margolin and Kamal Sefrioui were among those to bust.

More Chips for Chisu

Niveau 4 : 100/300, 300 ante

The board was all but rushed away when Danut Chisu called a bet of 4,000 by big stack Alexandre Moreau on the river of a queen-high board. Moreau only had {a-Spades}{j-Hearts} while Chisu had flopped top pair with {k-Clubs}{q-Spades} and made the right call to claim the pot.

It was a minor dent in the stack of Moreau, who still has heaps in the fourth level of the day.
