Three Way All-In Sends Chips In Two Directions

Preflop action saw Kalidou Sow all in for 32,100 from the hijack after Kimmo Kurko and Aliaksei Boika had already committed chips from under the gun and middle position, respectively, and Kurko called Sow's shove to put action back on Boika who went all in over the top.

Kurko went deep into the tank and after several minutes decided on a call.

Kurko was poised for the double knockout and a massive increase to stack as both Boika and Sow both had the same hand, reducing their odds to tilt the scales even further in Kurko's favor. The flop came and Kurko still appeared to be safe. The turn then fell behind to give Boika and Sow a backdoor wheel draw, and the river completed that draw to make Kurko's hand no longer good.

"Of course," said Kurko, realizing his fate in the runout. Boika's remaining stack was counted for the side pot and totaled to be 76,800 which Kurko paid, leaving him just over 10,000 behind. Sow and Boika then split the side pot, resulting in an increase to Sow's stack and a massive uptick to that of Boika's.
