Laurent Michot est le dernier représentant tricolore alors qu'il ne restera que 12 rescapés d'un field de 1 154 entrants au Day 5, lundi.
Assuré d'un gain de 55 690€, le Français est en queue de peloton mais avec une vingtaine de blindes et des niveaux de 90 minutes. Il trouvera sur sa route le chipleader hongrois Norbert Szecsi.

Il y a encore de la profondeur et des joueurs moins connus comme l'Israélien Livshitz (98bb) ou le Britannique Luke Marsh (110 blindes) seront difficile à écarter.

Le rythme a été rapide en début de journée après la sortie d'Andrei Stoenescu. Trois Français ont rendu les armes avant le premier break, Sylvain Loosli, Gaelle Baumann et Roland Chassing ont rejoint le rail tout comme Giorgiy Skhulukhiya, Roman Herold, et Philipp Zukernik.
Dans le Top 3 en début de journée, Norbert Szecsi avait déjà capitalisé alors que l'Italien Luigi Shehadeh et Gaby Livshitz tenaient toujours la corde.

Stefan Egermann was the initial raiser from under the gun and picked up a call by Tomas Paiva in the big blind.
