Bahri Busts Johnson

Picking the action up on a board of K♥5♠8♦6♠ in a battle between Yannice Bahri on the button and Anton Johnson in the small blind, and with around 22,000 already in the middle, Johnson check-called a bet of 8,500 from Bahri.

On the 5♣ river Johnson checked to Bahri, who thought through the spot for quite some time before eventually moving all in, covering Johnson, who had about 16,000 behind, and putting him to the test for his stack.

Johnson took a couple of minutes agonizing over the decision before making the call.

Bahri turned over A♠K♦ for a pair of kings and Johnson showed 10♥8♥ for second pair with a pair of eights, sending him to the exit.

Kervella puts Asgoudakis in the Tank

On the 9♦4♠6♦ flop, Stephane Abehassera fired for 1,500 from the cutoff and was called by Emmanouil Asgoudakis on the button and Jean-Philippe Kervella from the big blind.

Kervella checked the A♦ turn and Abehassera fired for 1,500 once again. Asgoudakis folded and Kervella check-raised to 4,000. Asgoudakis made the call.

The river K♥ brought a strong lead from Kervella for 10,000, which left Asgoudakis with a big decision.

After a minute in the tank and multiple checks of his holding, he asked Kervella, "do you have a flush?" which drew a shrug from the Frenchman. Another moment passed and Asgoudakis open folded A♥6♥ for two pair. Kervella passed his cards face down to the dealer and scooped the pot.

Calamusa Catches Botman Bluff

Pierre Calamusa opened to 700 from early position and was called by Maxime Pialat in the cutoff before Nick Botman reached for chips and produced a three-bet to 3,000. Only Calamusa called.

On the K♥9♥7♥ flop, Calamusa check-called a bet of 1,400 from Botman.

The 8♠ turn was checked through by both players.

The 5♥ rolled off on the river, completing a potential one-card flush, and Botman fired out a bet of 3,400 when action was checked to him.

Calamusa went into the tank and took a couple of minutes before making the call.

Botman turned over A♣J♦ for ace-high and Calamusa had K♣10♣ for top pair, sending a nice pot to Calamusa.

Yves Thalmann opened to 800 from early position and was three-bet to 2,800 by Symeon Alexandridis in middle position. Anton Johnson called cold from the cutoff and Bobby Simons made it 9,500 from the small blind.

Thalmann and Alexandridis folded, but Johnson went all in for his remaining 19,000. Simons quickly called to put Johnson at risk and hands were revealed.

Simons had Johnson dominated and the 7♣2♦9♠ flop and Q♦ turn kept Simons in front. However, the 6♥ river paired Johnson's six, leaving him best with his pair for the double-up.

Galindo called Farah's reraise and the dealer flipped the 8♦. Farah fired again, this time for 2,100, which Galindo called quickly.

The 4♦ river was checked around and both players tabled top pair, with Farah's A♥2♣ being out-kicked by Galindo's A♦10♠.
