The 5♣3♠2♥ flop checked through for the K♠ to fall on the turn. Chisu led out for 90,000 and Runcan called.

The 3♥ hit the river and Chisu bet out again for 90,000. Runcan raised to 580,000, which caused Chisu to go into the tank. After going through three of his time bank cards, Chisu opted to lay his hand down and surrender the pot to Runcan.

Gkatzas Calls Calamusa’s River Bluff for a Massive Double-Up

Pierre Calamusa opened to 40,000 from under the gun and was called by Fabian Bartuschk on the button and Dimitrios Gkatzas in the big blind.

The flop came 9♥2♠7♦, and Calamusa made a continuation bet of 40,000, which was only called by Gkatzas. The two players went heads-up to the 5♦ turn.

Gkatzas checked again, and Calamusa fired 135,000, which Gkatzas called.

The 8♥ completed the board, and Gkatzas took the initiative by leading out for 75,000. Calamusa checked his opponent stack and then moved all in for his effective stack of 510,000. A K♠ on the turn saw Kapeller check it over to his opponent, who put out a small bet of 90,000. Kapeller burned through a timebank before he called.

When the 5♠ dropped on the river, Kapeller checked again and Ruggeri counted out his chips before he elected to knuckle back.

"He has to show first, right?" asked Kapeller, who was quickly corrected by the dealer as he was out of position, he needed to show first. Kapeller then threw over a full house with J♥J♠, and Ruggeri's cards went into the muck.
