Break #3

Niveau 8 : 300/600, 75 ante

Players are up and stretching as its time for the third and last 20 minute break. There will be a 90 minute dinner break after two more blind levels.

178 Players

Niveau 8 : 300/600, 75 ante

Last year Day 1a in the Winamax SISMIX Main Event attracted 192 entrants. It will be close in terms of whether that figure is beat this year with currently 178 entrants and just 12 minutes to go before Level 8 - the final level of late registration - is in the books.

Less than half of the field remains with 82 players still competing in hopes to make it to Day 2 and beyond.

Davidi Katai Rollercoaster

Niveau 8 : 300/600, 75 ante

Davidi Kitai was at around 55,000 chips last break, but recently lost a big hand to bring him back down to near the starting chip stack of 25,000 after a hand against a Spanish player who registered just under the name "Raul". While French and Belgian players are required to disclose their full names in Morocco, such is not the case for players in Spain.

Raul began the action with {10-}{10-} from the small blind and bet the action once checked to him by Kitai on a {10-Clubs}{J-Clubs}{Q-Clubs} flop. Kitai also check-called when the {J-} hit the turn and once again when the {2-} hit the river to ship a pot of around 35,000 to "Raul" and took a big chunk out of Kitai's stack.

Florian Decamps Vs. Gytis Lazaninkas Part II

Niveau 7 : 250/500, 50 ante

Team Winamax pro Florian Decamps has his stack now up to 65,000. In a recent hand, he once again piled up some chips against Lithuanian Gytis Lazaninkas when he flopped the world with {3-}{3-} on a {a-}{a-}{3-} flop and got calls on progressively larger bets on all three streets including a bet of 25,000 on the river. Lazaninkas mucked his hand, but Decamps speculated he likely had Ax and didn't get a higher full-house on the {k-} or {j-} river.

While this hand didn't eliminate Gytis Lazaninkas, he exited the tournament a short while later. He shared with those at the table that he will likely at some point re-enter.

More Team Winamax Pros

Niveau 7 : 250/500, 50 ante

A couple of more Winamax Team members entered the field after busting out of the Highroller short of the bubble including Michel Abécassis and Bruno Lopes.

We also spotted Team Winamax member Gaëlle Baumann after she also busted short of the money in the Highroller, however, she shared she needed a break and will join in on the Main Event for Day 1b tomorrow instead of heading straight back into the action today.
