Le Jour 1B du Sismix 2016 a rassemblé 294 joueurs au Casino Es Saadi de Marrakech. Seul 60 joueurs ont rallié le Jour 2 qui se déroulera samedi à partir de midi.
C'est André Mabille qui a emballé le plus de jetons lors du Jour 1B. Avec 217 000 jetons, il a tout de même fait moins bien que le chipleader belge de la journée d'ouverture. Le Marocain Rachid Amid est tout proche avec 207 900 jetons alors que Romain Lewis termine à 203 000 jetons après avoir éliminé Florence Mazet à quelques minutes de la fin de la journée avec contre pour la couvreuse pour un pot à 200 000 jetons.

Le Jour 1C qui permettra lui aussi un re-entry, débute vendredi à midi. C'est la dernière chance de rejoindre les qualifiés pour le Jour 2.

With 65 players left, the tournament director just announced three more hands to be dealt on each table before Day 1b is officially over.
Florence Mazet was one of the latest players to exit the tournament. She got it all in for 100,000 with against PokerStars Team Pro Romain Lewis needing to dodge an ace with Lewis holding . It was over quickly for Mazet as an appeared on the flop and she was unable to get the lone remaining in the deck to appear on the turn or river.
Romain Lewis is now the chip leader with 240,000 chips and shared, "I got lucky, but you need some luck in this game."

Quentin Laugt opens the action to 3,200 from early position. Antonio Almeida calls from the button and Rachid Am follows along from the big blind.
Laugt leads out with a bet of 4,500 on a flop of which both players opt to call. Laugt leads out again, this time for 11,500 when the appears on the turn. Almeida calls again, however, Am raises to 30,000. Laugt quickly folds and Almeida tanks for a couple of minutes before also laying down his hand.
