Yesterday 179 players entered Day 1a. It would be a complete shock if that number wasn't easily surpassed today. We are already at 126 players.
While no player has been eliminated yet, the first one out of today's field will receive a seat worth 3,200 MAD (€194) to the two-day La Fièvre tournament on Saturday. Yesterday, France's Hugues Mazouaud received the "honor" of busting out first and was awarded the same prize.
There are a number of other unique ways to win prizes including winning a hand with a straight-flush or better awarding a bottle of champagne at the night-club and a bad-beat jackpot prize of losing with quads or better awarding a seat into next year's event.
