All those that survived their respective flight will return to the convention centre of the five-star Merit Crystal Cove Hotel Casino & Spa in Girne, North Cyprus. Day 2 will kick off with blinds of 1,200/2,500 and a big blind ante of 2,500, which gives all new entries 40 big blinds.

The late registration and re-entry period remains open for the first four levels and the level duration until the conclusion is 60 minutes each. Day 2 will play until the money bubble has been burst and the penultimate day then whittles down the field to the nine-handed final table. The event is slated to crown a champion on Monday, September 20, 2021.

With plenty of chips in the middle in a battle cutoff versus button, Alexey Badulin check-called all-in for more than 100,000 on the {j-Hearts}{4-Clubs}{2-Spades}{a-Spades} turn. His opponent was Caner Gunes with the superior stack.

Alexey Badulin: {k-Spades}{j-Spades}
Caner Gunes: {a-Diamonds}{a-Hearts}

Badulin needed a spade and missed on the {8-Clubs} river to leave the tournament area temporarily.

Sonia-Veronika Shashikhina
Sonia-Veronika Shashikhina

A squeeze to 32,000 was in front of Sonia-Veronika Shashikhina and she then called all-in for around 150,000 in total when Istvan Birizdo moved all-in.

Sonia-Veronika Shashikhina: {j-Spades}{j-Clubs}
Istvan Birizdo: {a-Spades}{k-Spades}

The {q-Diamonds}{5-Diamonds}{3-Spades} flop and {5-Hearts} turn were blanks. However, the dreadful {a-Diamonds} fell on the river to send Shashikhina to the rail.

Two In a Row for Kiriopoulos

Demosthenes Kiriopoulos
Demosthenes Kiriopoulos

Demosthenes Kiriopoulos knocked out a shorter stack with {a-Diamonds}{j-Hearts} versus {k-Diamonds}{10-Diamonds} when the board ran out {q-Clubs}{5-Hearts}{3-Clubs}{3-Hearts}{5-Clubs}.

Shortly after, he opened and then four-bet jammed into Imad Saab, who called it off in a flip.

Imad Saab: {a-Diamonds}{q-Diamonds}
Demosthenes Kiriopoulos: {j-Diamonds}{j-Clubs}

Saab took the lead on the {q-Spades}{10-Spades}{6-Hearts} flop but the {j-Spades} turn restored the preflop order. Nothing changed on the {9-Diamonds} river and Kiriopoulos made it two knockouts in a row.

On a flop of {10-Hearts}{9-Diamonds}{6-Diamonds}, Fadi Alakzam opted for a check-raise from 40,000 to 105,000 and then saw his opponent push all-in. Alakzam called for the 296,000 he had behind to create the following showdown.

Petkov Wins Large Pot Flush Over Flush

Lachezar Petkov
Lachezar Petkov

On the tail end of a bigger pot on the {10-Hearts}{6-Spades}{3-Hearts}{a-Spades}{8-Spades} board, Neshan Khourshoudian had to forfeit 275,000 to table neighbor Lachezar Petkov, who revealed the {q-Spades}{j-Spades} for a queen-high flush. Khourshoudian had flopped best with {10-Spades}{7-Spades} and took a massive hit to the stack.

"Sorry man," Petkov apologised and then was busy for a while with stacking the chips.

Selahaddin Bedir

Selahaddin Bedir jammed over the top of a squeeze to 85,000 by Lachezar Petkov and was snapped off by the Bulgarian for the 320,000 he had behind.

Selahaddin Bedir: {7-Clubs}{7-Spades}
Lachezar Petkov: {k-Diamonds}{k-Hearts}

The {a-Diamonds}{k-Spades}{j-Clubs} flop left Bedir in dire shape but he picked up some chop outs on the {10-Spades} turn. Nothing changed with the {8-Spades} river and Bedir tapped the table in defeated, then pushed his chips over to Petkov.
