Welcome back to PokerNews' coverage of the PokerStars Caribbean Adventure. Today marks the final day of the series and while action is still going strong in the $10,300 Main Event and the $25,000 High Roller another event will not only kick off, but finish today as well. The $10,000 Single-Day High Roller is sure to bring out some of the biggest names and brightest stars in poker.
Last year, this event was held as a turbo six-max. The tournament brought out a total of 49 players, creating a prizepool of $475,300. It was Ben Tollerene who bested Chance Kornuth heads up to take down the $149,000 first place prize and the trophy. A new champion will be crowned today in the final event of the series, which should be similar to that one.
Players will begin with a whopping 100,000 chips and action will be eight handed. Blinds will start off at 500/1,000 with an ante of 100. The tournament will also have a 30-second shot clock, much like the other high roller events of this series, so players will have to make their moves quick. Each player will also be given three time bank chips which are worth an extra minute of thinking time.
Action is set to kick off at 1 p.m. local time. and PokerNews will be covering this event from start to finish so make sure to stay tuned for all the upcoming action.
Iliodoros Kamatakis opened with a raise to 3,000 before Sam Greenwood called from the small blind.
The flop came down and both players checked to see the on the turn. There, Greenwood checked. Kamatakis put out a bet of 4,500 and Greenwood thought for a bit before calling.
The river was the and Greenwood checked again. Kamatakis fired another bet, making it 7,500. Greenwood thought for a bit, then decided to raise, and he decided to raise big, making it 40,000, more than the size of the pot.
Kamatakis dropped into the tank, expending two of his timebank chips. Eventually, he decided to call, but he mucked quickly when Greenwood showed him for a rivered flush. That allowed Greenwood to take down the massive pot while Kamatakis was dropped down to about half of a starting stack.
Isaac Haxton opened with a raise to 10,000 and he was called by Yang Zhang in the big blind.
The flop came down and Zhang checked to Haxton. Haxton bet 13,000. Zhang decided to raise, making it 33,000. Haxton called.
On the turn, Zhang shoved and Haxton snap-called.

Zhang had a flush draw, but Haxton had an overpair and a blocker to Zhang's flush. The river was the which was a blank for Zhang and that earned the double up for Haxton with his pair of jacks
Mikita Badziakouski opened for 13,000 from the cutoff and Vladimir Troyanovskiyy on the button called. Small blind Mikalai Vaskaboinikau moved in for 88,000 and the big blind folded. Badziakouski moved in over the top for 93,000 more, Troyanovskiyy folded.

Troyanovskiyy didn't say what he had but his eyes told the story clear enough, he would've won after the board ran out . Instead, Vaskaboinikau doubled.
Action folded to Sam Greenwood in the small blind and he moved in to put the pressure on big blind Erik Seidel. Seidel didn't ned much time calling for around 150,000 with . Greenwood tabled .
The in the window was good enough for Greenwood as the entire board ran out . Seidel out, Greenwood in charge.
Jean-Noel Thorel opened for what looked like 50,000 from the hijack. Over on the button, Sam Greenwood moved in and when the action had folded around back to him, Thorel called.
Vladimir Troyanovski opened with a raise to 50,000 from the hijack seat. In the cutoff, Mustapha Kanit shoved all in for 380,000 roughly. Action folded back to Troyanovskiy who called.

Troyanovskiy let out a heavy sigh upon seeing the hands and it didn't get any better for him as the board rolled out not improving him at all. Kanit doubled into what is likely the chip lead while Troyanovskiy was left with right around 200,000.
Steve O'Dwyer moved all in from middle position for roughly 100,000. Action folded around to the big blind where Almedin Imsorovic called from the big blind.

The flop was safe for O'Dywer when it came king-high, but the turn gave Imsorovic a flush draw.
"Too many outs," Cary Katz said, who was also at the table.
The river was a and that gave Imsorovic the lead and earned him the pot.
"Cary!" O'Dwyer said laughing. "Shhhhhh. As soon as you opened your mouth I knew it."
Imsorovic moved over 600,000 while O'Dwyer hit the rail.
From the small blind, Ramin Hajiyev moved all in with a covering stack over Igor Kurganov. Kurganov called after looking at his cards.
"Ugh," Hajiyev sighed. "Do you have a good one?"
"Better than that," Kurganov said after looking at the cards.
