Justin Bonomo was down to just 8,400 when he put his stack at risk preflop. Chris Hunichen was seated to Bonomo's left and made the call on the button.
Bonomo:
Hunichen:
The board ran out and Bonomo spiked a queen on the turn to stay alive.
Peter Jetten opened from the hijack and Stephen Chidwick three-bet to 5,200 on the button. Igor Kurganov was in the small blind and made a four-bet to 15,400. With the action back on Jetten, he five-bet jammed all in for 84,800. Chidwick got out of the way and Kurganov made the call.
Peter Jetten:
Igor Kurganov:
It was a classic race situation with Jetter currently in front holding the pocket queens. The board ran out and Jetten's pocket pair held up to earn himself a full double up through Kurganov.
Ryan Riess opened to 2,000 from the cutoff and was called by Jeff Gross on the button. Nick Petrangelo three-bet to 9,500 from the small blind and the action was back on Riess. After going through one of his time extensions, Riess four-bet to 24,200. Gross mucked his cards and Petrangelo announced all in, having Riess covered. The former WSOP Main Event champion quickly folded and sent a good chunk of chips across the table.
Chris Hunichen moved all in on the river of a board putting pressure on his heads-up opponent George Wolff. Hunichen had Wolff covered and after a moment of deliberation, Wolff made the call.
Hunichen tabled the filling up on the river and Wolff's was no match.
