Benjamin Pollak et Jean-Noël Thorel sont encore en course aux côtés de Byron Kaverman. Finaliste du Main Event 2017, l'ambassadeur BetClic Benjamin Pollak est 4e du général avec 538 000 jetons, derrière l'ancien numéro 1 du classement GPI, Steve O'Dwyer (783 000). La légende du poker Erik Seidel (494 000) et le nouveau reg des high-rollers Orpen Kisacikoglu (158,000) complètent le lineup.

Jean-Noel Thorel opened to 50,000 in the cutoff and Orpen Kisacikoglu called out of the small blind. Nick Petrangelo three-bet shoved for 187,000 and Thorel made the call. Kisacikoglu took a moment before tossing his cards into the muck.

After Byron Kaverman opened to 35,000 from under-the-gun, Scott Seiver three-bet jammed from middle position. Action folded to Steve O'Dwyer on the button who made the call forcing Kaverman to fold.

Seiver was in trouble and found no help from the board falling in ninth place.
With a total of 46 entries stemming from 31 entries and 15 re-entires, a prize pool of $2,263,200 has been created. The top six spots will take home a prize with anyone making the money guaranteed at least $158,420.
The top prize of $769,500 and all the glory will be handed out to the eventual champion.

The board ran out and Koon's flopped pair of queens sent Seidel to the rail. Seidel did immediately leave the tournament floor though he does have until the end of the break following the next level to re-enter.

Everyone had something with Kruk having the best of it with his aces. The changed nothing but a on the river gave Hart a flush sending Kruk to the rail and leaving Koon among the short-stacks.

With the $100,000 Super High Roller crowning a champion later today, the second largest buy-in event of the 2018 PokerStars Caribbean Adventure (PCA) gets underway this afternoon at the Atlantis Resort on the beautiful Paradise Island.
The eighth event of the festival will play out over the next two days featuring a buy-in of $50,000.
In 2017, at the PokerStars Championship Bahamas, Bryn Kenney bested a field of 69 total entries defeating Mustapha Kanit heads-up to claim the title and a top prize of $969,075. Both Kenney and Kanit are back in the Bahamas one year later.
Kanit is free to play today falling short of the money during play last night in the Super High Roller. Kenney on the other hand still remains and is in the money battling with just seven players left.
One of the biggest stories going into play today is poker’s top two all-time leading money earners battling for the top spot. Canadian poker legend Daniel Negreanu currently sits number one with $35,319,815 while American Erik Seidel boasts $33,277,776 in career live-recorded tournament earnings.
Negreanu will add a chunk to his lead later today when he returns for action at the Super High Roller final table. Sadly, Seidel fell as the “bubble boy” but can minimize the damage with a good run in this event.
The rest of the field is expected to be star-studded and should be quite a battle with all the players busting out of the Super High Roller eager to get back on the felt.
Players will start with 100,000 in tournament chips and be bound to a 30-second shot clock. Each level will last 30-minutes and Day 1 will play down to an official final table of six with the finalists returning on Tuesday at 1 PM local time and play down till the last card comes off the deck.
