Joey Ingram
Joey Ingram

Joey Ingram tried to make the most out of his surprising Platinum Pass that he received but once again, he proved that two cards just isn't his game. Ingram specializes in the game of Pot-Limit Omaha but has recently been focusing most of his attention on creating YouTube content.

Unfortunately for 'Papi', he was unable to keep his stack alive long enough to reach the money as he bowed out mid-way through Day 2.

Benger Waits for the Turn

Niveau 13 : 1,500/3,000, 3,000 ante

Griffin Benger raised it up to 6,500 from middle position and was called by both of the blinds. The flop came {j-Hearts}{10-Clubs}{2-Clubs} and everyone opted to check as the {6-Hearts} landed on the turn.

Both of the blinds checked again and Benger took a stab at the pot with a bet of 15,000. The small blind folded but Mario Hofler put up some resistance from the big blind. After counting out a raise, Hofler just decided to call instead.

The {q-Spades} completed the board and Hofler took his time before checking again. Benger tossed in a bet of 25,000 and Hofler went back into the tank for over two minutes, eventually deciding to lay his hand down.

Desilva Finds a Fold

Niveau 13 : 1,500/3,000, 3,000 ante

Upeshka Desilva had put in 32,500 in the small blind and was facing an all-in shove for his remaining 132,000 or so from Jacqueline Burkhart in middle position.

"Pretty strong," he said with a smile, stretching.

"All right, take it," he added moments later, flicking in {j-}{j-}.

Burkhart smiled but didn't show.

Boeken Busted by Martini

Niveau 13 : 1,500/3,000, 3,000 ante

Noah Boeken was seen getting up from his seat and had {a-Hearts}{3-Hearts} in front of him. His stack was pushed Julien Martini's way who held {9-Diamonds}{8-Diamonds}.

The board read {8-Hearts}{3-Clubs}{9-Hearts}{k-Diamonds}{7-Clubs} which meant that Martini had flopped two pair while Boeken had a pair of treys and the flush draw. The rest of the board didn't help Boeken as he made his way out of the tournament area while Martini shoots to the top of the chip counts for now.

The following notable players were eliminated before the second break of the day:

[Removed:550] Bows Out

Niveau 13 : 1,500/3,000, 3,000 ante

Joining the action on the {8-Diamonds}{7-Clubs}{6-Spades} flop, [Removed:532] got his last 45,000 or so in out of the big blind and was quickly called by Atanas Pavlov in the cutoff.

[Removed:532]: {Q-Clubs}{8-Hearts}
Atanas Pavlov: {9-Hearts}{9-Clubs}

[Removed:550] was in need of help to stay in contention but ended up drawing to a chop only when the {9-Diamonds} followed on the turn. A blank {A-Diamonds} on the river sealed the fate of the PokerStars ambassador.
