After 16 levels of play on Day 1 of the $25,000 PLO High Roller in the PokerStars Carribean Adventure in the luxious Baha Mar Resort, it was Jeremy Ausmus who bagged the chip lead with an impressive 385,000. Close on his heels is Finland's Joni Jouhkimainen (336,000) and Andriy Lyubovetskiy (274,000) to round out the top three.

Day 1 saw a total of 44 entries join the PLO streets to create a prizepool of $1,056,440, and after the dust settled, only ten hopefuls remain in the hunt for the $364,440 top prize.

Many notables joined the field throughout the day, and some who couldn't find a bag included Cary Katz, Jason Mercier, Ben Lamb, and 2019 $10,000 PCA PLO High Roller runner-up Cliff Josephy.

Ausmus is a high stakes regular with over $13 Million in live tournament earnings, and after having already won a PCA trophy this trip in Event #17: $2,200 Deep Stack less than a week ago, he will have his sights set on adding another title to his collection.
